So the WAFC statement explains that they felt it was a good idea to bring in someone that had no alignment to any element of WA football. Well, doesn't that describe the previous imposter? And I for one would have thought that just maybe someone that has some attachment to WA Footy might actually be better suited. I am a bit disappointed, but definitely not surprised.

Yep, a man with great knowledge of the running of a state football league. A man that will recognize the WAFL’s fight to survive and meet it head on. Probably just another pricktorian that thinks he knows what WA footy needs.

Old mate Dorro didn’t make it. The gravy train left the station without him for once.

I’m going to miss not seeing him quaff and scoff and lecture us all about how the world works at President Lunches.

Thank goodness for that.

Old mate Dorro -Biggest bludger around, all a bit late . he's filled his boots for years, and a outright shonk as well.

In saying that, the new CEO sounds like an AFL stooge with zero WAFL connection.

That's apparently a good thing if you believe the propaganda - fresh eyes, fresh perspective, unencumbered by relationships blah blah. Like fk. The last prick didn't know one end of a football from the other and I fear we've got another one with zero connection or care for the tradition, culture and passion of the WAFL.

Surely there was a suitably qualified WA footy person who played the game at some sort of WAFL level, knows the issues facing the WAFL and will give it a fair go in amongst all the AFL hype.

How does a Vicco tick any of those boxes? I dont think the comp has time to sit bye and see how it works out.

FMD!!

Thank farrrk for that should never have been allowed to return in the first place. Will probably try to get his old job back on the Road Safety Council so he can still keep preaching down to people.

Callahan was a recent former Perth board member and lifetime Carlisle Football Club member so good to see a Perth representative on there and will no doubt have a lot to say about grassroots football. Not sure what Dixie is there for? Perks?

I have no idea about Dixie’s history? Is she even a West Australian? The cynic in me would suggest she’s just another one trying to climb the corporate ladder with the Eagles and Dockers big shots. Phil Lamb is a good result, there’s no Subi related conflicts of interest he can have now like Randall had.
