I don't think Mathews has a record as criminal, wasn't the charge overturned.

I agree I thought Matthews was talking a bit of garbage about the zone stuff. The bloke that always makes sense is KB. He simply says reduce interchange rotations massively, bring fatigue back into the game and watch the play open up. Interesting that as recently as 2004 average rotations in the AFL were 34! Reducing rotations doesn't interfere with the fabric of the game like silly rule changes do. Can't believe Mark Duffield (who is nearly always on the money) wrote that he is in favour of bringing in "9 pointers"

Not that the AFL listens to KB's advice, that would be smart by an organisation that is extremely dumb.

Matthews is becoming quite senile - ran into too many point posts. KB, like or hate him, has always had the game at heart.
As for Duffield, I don’t take a lot of notice of “the world according to Mark”. He shares the mantle of WA’s biggest knob with Hardie.
