Well with Stage 5 delayed until the end of Oct now, there will now only be half capacity allowed at a ground and if a suburban ground is selected its looking like 6 or so thousand.

Its also certain Perth has been missed for the AFL GF.

Meaning Optus could well be empty now for months, surely they could adjust ground hire pricing to get a crowd in?

I'm pretty sure the new deferred date was just prior to the tentative 2020 GF date leaving them open to assessing the situation if we get the GF here whether they allow full capacity or not. Like everything Covid-19 it's a constantly changing beast so anything can be changed in a heart beat.

Dont give a rats about the Vicco GF, happy to watch it on TV like every other year if the Weags make it. As for the WAFL surely the WAFC wont force a local ground hosting if it's 50% capacity, only real solution is Optus which at 50% can easily accommodate a WAFL GF. Imagine Joondy hosting the GF on a cold windy day with 5 or 6 k there, or any other local ground for that matter.

The fact that PS will still be able to accommodate 30,000 for a WAFL GF should make the decision to hold it there a no brainer but this is the WAFC we are talking about here....it is now up to these WAFC bureaucrats to negotiate a better deal with the WA State built & owned PS management....but I wont hold my breath waiting!

A SF v CL or PFC GF would see a big crowd at Optus, sufficient to at least break even.

He has made the sensible decision that keeps our state safer mate - we've seen far too many liars & intentional breaching incidents mainly from the habitual NSW & Victorian sprogs for there to be any relaxation in the short term in WA
But this could be a boon for our comp if the cards fall nicely
