The SANFL Kicked of last Saturday with 2 double headers at Adelaide Oval. The crowds was supposed to be capped at 2500 with a ballot system for tickets but some how 4000 attended each day.
As usual THE SANFL is miles ahead of the WAFL.

Yes, week 1 of their fixtures is done.
All the matches were really good games from what I hear.
The SANFL has always been a mile ahead of us here.
They have another 4 matches this weekend. 2 matches at Adelaide Oval on saturday and 2 at the same venue on sunday.

FMD can we borrow their league management committee for a few months so our hopeless mob can be shown how to run a successful state league comp. They have easily managed to convert the SANFL for this shortened season to an ammo comp, no players getting paid and i think the same for club officals maybe excepting the CEO. The WAFC have a lot to learn, if they were anyway inclined to learn anything from anyone bar the AFL.

Why are we forking out $9m a year in salaries for these dead beats?

Infiltrated and then bought out a few years ago now
does anyone think that the SANFL would allow a Michael Ablett scenario for their comp or even contemplate allowing the Viccos to just do it?
like they did here?

SANFL do things so much better than here.

If you go on youtube they have a 4 to 6 minute highlight package of each game played last weekend.

Why dont the $10 million dollar men at WAFC HQ actually occasionally peep over the border to have a good look at what their State League cousins the SANFL boys are doing?
Not necessarily on the field but off the field the SA boys leave these drongos here for dead with their promotion, vision, proactiveness etc.
Instead the WAFC just cosy up to whatever the Viccos want them to bloody do!

Given the crowd limit was 5000, if only 4000 attended that doesn't seem to be a huge result.
