Anyone listened to that Golden WAFL podcast on stitchers.com from the two fellas from The Gloves are Off? Summary of the WAFL from 1967 to 1986, year by year quick analysis, premiership, players, medallists etc...good chat and lots of reminiscing of events over those years....stumbled across by chance on my FB feed.

Yes it is definitely worth a listen for WAFL diehards who love their WA footy history Freeze.

Does anyone remember that great series Peter & Bill Cutler did a few years back on 91.3 Sport FM radio about different WAFL years of the past interjected with music from that particular year as well and interviews with players from the 2 Grand Final opponents in that season?
I wonder if they will be doing any more of those as it was great listening?

Yes I have listened to The Golden WAFL a few times now and love it. It is put together by The Gloves Are Off - a couple of crazy WAFL lovers who talk sport on 91.3 Sport FM every Wednesday at 7pm. Very entertaining and well worth a listen !

The Gloves Are Off boys were at Fremantle Oval last Saturday for the SD vs SF game in their respective SD & SF jumpers for whom each team they support.

Yes, Sport FM have a winner with The Gloves Are Off every Wednesday evening, they are brilliant!! Every episode is creative, informative and damn funny. I listen every week, a couple of local lads who are obviously big WAFL fans.
