Randall wants to go one better
Draft pick #3 Chelsea Randall aiming for Rio Olympics
It all started when she was kicking the football with her Dad at half time of her brother ‘s match. Randall says that she kind of fell into football because she was only supposed to be a fill in for a boy’s team. Now she finds herself playing for Western Australia for the fifth time in the AFL Women’s National Championship Carnival in Cairns. Randall was also selected by Melbourne FC in the inaugural AFL Women’s Draft. It’s been a busy year as Randall is in a squad for the All Australian Women’s Rugby 7’s side in preparation for the 2016 Olympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro.
