Are Williams going to be the team to beat again this year?

Williams are always going to be there about. They have a good culture which allows them to recruit well.
From all reports Narrogin have been the big movers in the offseaon.

and Wickepin look to be big improvers, Boddington have gotten better Kukerin on the slide, Wagin bottom of top 4, Katanning don't look a finals prospects, Brookton Pingelly look wooden spoon already

Narrogin & Wickepin played out a ripper last weekend with Narrogin marginally the victor. Both these sides look a bit better than Williams, with Kukerin, Boddington & Wagin in a dog fight for 4th. Katanning are too hit & miss, and Brookton/Pingelly are struggling

Finals start this weekend and from above Wagin fell away to never really be a finals prospect, the loss of Johnson and Boyce to Perth too great to cover. Williams lost there way as the season went on, with an ageing side hit with injuries and by losing the last round to red hot Premiership favourites Narrogin, missed finals for the first time in awhile,

Kukerin/Dumbleyung after a slow start hit there straps and are playing there best footy now, and are the only side to topple Narrogin albeit in the wet. On Sunday in the First Semi, they meet Boddington who are back on track after a horror season last year. Boddington are hit and miss with availability, but at full strength will match Kukerin/Dumbleyung who need to be at full strength as their depth is not strong. Predicting a close game KD by a goal.

The following week Narrogin take on Wickepin who have been solid al year before losing to Kukerin Dumbleyung in the last round. Narrogin shook off Wickepin to win last time they met, and on form are only 2 wins away from breaking a Premiership drought. They are the best team, the only chink is they have a couple of loose cannons,who can upset the rhthymn of the team,but I doubt enough to lose them a match

Big improvement from Boddington , considering they did not even go close to winning a game last season. Have they recruited heavily? If not what's the improvement from?

Without been privy to all the info and going on hearsay, there was a max exodus after 2013, no funds spent and did it tough in 2014 , and started again in 2015. Some players returned picked up some reasonable recruits, including the Depanes from East Fremantle. Due to shift work at the Mine the side flucuates week to week from side not capable of making finals to a side capable this season of getting to the Prelim if at full strength.

And they did, been far too good for Kukerin Dumbleyung, who were under the pump all day.James Depane was very good as was Matt White in defence and Eamon Eames was a livewire up forward. Scoreboard flatted KD who were almost out of it at quarter time and never really recovered.
