Interesting getting some feed back from the AGM.
Most probably wrong (sincerely hope i am) however heard a 'office bearer' of the WAAFL challenging some questions from the floor with "whats your problem"?
Regardless whether factual or not maybe its time we (Clubs) considered a 'Club or Presidents Association'just to keep checks and balances.
Like the govt serves the people, the WAAFL (PFL) serves the Clubs of Community football.
Just a thought.

Yes there is a right and a wrong way to go about making changes and this chap sure knows a lot about the wrong way. Perhaps the proposed changes are justifying his existence in office. He's an absolute nightclub bouncer with the attitude to match.

Personally, I have never had any issues with him.

If I have every asked for anything. he has always been polite and helpful - though he has said 'no' on occasion.

I would be pretty sure the League had done their homework before Monday night and made sure their backsides were well covered - which is exactly what they should do.

Stinker, without being there I don't know if the comments were appropriate or not. Sometimes at AGM's people will push their own agenda and not move on regardless of what they have been told. If something like that happened then I don't think its unfair to ask someone, "what's your problem?"

I think more information is needed from those that were there before we can decide if what was said is wrong or not.

It is tough pleasing some people.
Completely disagree on the point made that we need to have a club or presidents association, that kind of mob mentality never works and would most likely be counterproductive to everyones cause.
Those working on behalf of the Perth Football League do a tremendous job and probably never get the credit deserved, so until MrM hears otherwise, perhaps his response was justified.

The mob mentality got us a points system against the pushback from the administration, also got us a new President.

I think he got caught out a little being under prepared.

I like the idea of a club or presidents association as it will give the clubs a neutral place where they can voice their opinions and have this association deal direct with the PFL on behalf of the clubs.

It definitely would have come in handy with the points system fiasco where the clubs had to pull together to get the first option overturned.

I think a lot of clubs hold back their opinions as they don't want to rock the boat with the PFL.
