I'll fill in for Bulldog1980.

Winners last week were Jandakot, Secret Harbour, Southern River, Brentwood and Swan View. With all the away teams winning this past week, I'm not too sure whether or not you'd get all 5 for not tipping (Maddog and B'Man missed their tips last week) I'll leave that up to BD1980.

The current standings look like this (Excluding Maddog and B'Man's score)
Bulldog1980 - 4 - 20
FL87 - 4 - 17
Footblr - 4 - 15
Screech - 3 - 15
RJ - 4 - 15
Maddog - ? - 14
B'Man - ? - 9

Onto this weeks games!

Trinity Aquinas V Osborne Park
Last week, TA's started well against River, but couldn't get the job done. Ossie Park battled it tough against the undefeated Swan View but couldn't get it done. With both sitting on 1-4, it's a tough one to pick, but I'll go with Osborne Park to kick straight this week.

Secret Harbour V Wembley
Like some of last weeks teams, Wembley looked as though they had the yips in front of goal, registering 17 behinds. Secret Harbour are travelling well, dealing with Cockburn by 5 goals last week. Secret at home should dominate this game by at least 10+ goals.

Southern River V Cockburn Cobras
Our boys at River have been putting good form to the task on Saturdays, notching their 4th win in a row and looking to goods to make it 5. Cockburn are in the same boat as Wembley without a win so far this season and I don't see their hoodoo broken this weekend. The River by 10+ goals

Brentwood Booragoon V Swan View Game Of The Round
1 of 2 night games this round, with this being the battle for top spot and an undefeated streak. Brentwood have been in fine form of late, easily taking care of Roleystone last week. The View looked like they also had some yips in front of goals as they registered 14 behinds. Really tough to pick but I'll get behind the home team in a tight one. Brentwood by 2 goals.

Jandakot Vs Roleystone
The second night game of the round, with this one being the later game (6.30pm instead of 5pm). Roleystone have looked to be rattled from their game against Swan View and didn't redeem themselves last week against Brentwood. With Jandakot finally getting a win and being at home under lights this week, I think they might be able to get over the line, but not by much. Jandakot by a goal.

Good luck to all teams!

TA's vs Osborne Park-Both teams sit 1 and 4 and if Roleystone gets up this week then the loser is 3 games behind 5th and just about out of finals contention. Last week The Park had their chance and in the end the score probably flattered them and TA's after a good start couldn't make it 2 in a row. This should be a tight contest but TA's at home will be too strong and keep finals hopes alive. TA's by a goal. Ressies-TA's by 5 goals

Secret Harbour vs Wembley-Secret Harbour stayed in touch with the top 2 with a win over the lowly cobras last week while Wembley were again competitive but unable to break their duck. I think they will be competitive again but with games against the top 2 coming up,Secret Harbour need to bank this one and will do so by 5 goals. Ressies-Wembly by 2 goals

Southern River vs Cockburn Cobras-Southern River have banged on 4 wins in a row and with the ressies being in a similar position the confidence around the club would be high. Cobras would be the complete opposite but they have been competetive. The River gets another chance here to consolidate a top 5 position and should do so but I'm expecting a close encounter. The River by 2 goals. Ressies-The River by 10 goals

Brentwood vs Swan View-Should be a cracker here as both teams look to stay undefeated. Our boys are once again looking forward to the challenge of facing another undefeated team and are aware it will be tougher than last time we did so against the rabble from Roleystone. Hopefully most of those 27 blokes who missed last week are filtered back through the 3 teams and we get more of our usual line up on the park. Obviously ill back us in either way. The View by 3 goals. Ressies- The View by 4 goals.

Jandakot vs Roleystone-Jandakot are back in the hunt after consecutive wins while Roleystone have been given a reality check by the 2 top sides in recent weeks. This is the old 8 point game where a loss by Jandakot will see some separation between the top 5 and bottom 5. The confidence is back at Jandakot and ill back them in to get the job done at home in a close one.Jandakot by 2 goals
Ressies-Roleystone by a goal.

Looking forward to seeing the results come Saturday night! 5 hard, tough, clean games.

well round 6 is here and we are starting to see a bit of a split in the ladder already. Still a bit to go for the first half of the season so should be a cracking this week with alot of teams already playing for their season.

TA v O/Park
well the loser could be 3 games behind 5th which is not a position you want to be in this early in the season. unfortunately I missed last weeks game against TA but to all accounts i heard they were a good outfit and had some danger forwards. O/Park had Swan view and it looks like they kicked themselves out of the game early.
Going to be a good game but have to go with TA's at home by 2 goals.

Secret Harbour v Wembley
not much to say about this game played against SH and had some smart players haven't had the opportunity to play against wembly but 3rd vs last sorry wembly going to see a killing here SH by 10 goals

Southern River v Cockburn
4th v 9th here not going to be a push over game by any means for SR. we know cockburn have a couple good forwards and if they get their tales up they are hard to team to beat. if we start well i dont see Cockburn coming near us. SR by 8 goals

Brentwood v Swan View (GOTR)
well here it is the two undefeated teams play off for bragging rights as to who will be the flag favourites. played against brentwood the very first game so cant really take much from that and havent played Swan View yet. both teams took care of the previous undefeated team in roleystone in fine fashion and looks to be a cracking game. going for Swan View here by 4 goals.

Jandakot v Roleystone
well this is quite and interesting match. Jandakot wanting to keep in touch with the top 5 and roleystone wanting that little breathing room between them and 6th. with roleystone being convincingly beaten the past few weeks and Jandakot getting over the two lower teams I just don't see them getting up for this match. Roleystone to bounce back with a bang by 10+ goals

hope all have a good week and a good game.
