Probably not the smartest idea on Thornlies behalf.
I mean they can't get within 10 goals of any team let alone 10 inside 50's per match. I'm sure the fev won't be too happy with this!

Isn't the WAAFL an amateur competition. Surely Fevola is not playing for free.

He is over here playing for a Country team for one match and has a mate at Thornlie who asked him to make an appearance.

I guess if he gets the all clear from the WAAFL then Thornlie will have a good day.

he's playing for the rocko rams ... led to believe $20K for the game he's being paid. How true that is who knows.

It's about 12-15k he will get, that includes him doing sportmans nights & playing footy. You would think the ground would be packed to see him so the host team will make plenty of $$$.

Just throwing it out there, if Fev plays for an amateur side and the WAAFL cannot substantiate that the club he plays for had actually paid him what can they do?? For example if club sponsors or outsiders paid him and he says " I'm just having a kick with grass roots footy boys" what can the Ammos do about it really? No proof,no charges or penalties...Sponsors or the like foot the bill for a sporties nite and him to play a one off game, club makes some coin, who cares and good luck to them...a one off surely is okay...thoughts??

I know we talked about this at our club last night and blokes said they would be keen to play on him and see just how good he is or was......

I say good luck to Thornlie if they can pull this off, It might help them win a game somewhere along the line

We had him at sportsman lunch with kouta at lathlain and that boy is definitely good on the fang!
