Ballajura Senior Football Club
The Ballajura Senior Football Club has just celebrated its 25th year and is now inviting applications for the League (B Grade), Reserves (B Reserves), Colts and Thirds coaching positions for the 2020 season and beyond.
Key coaching objectives:
⦁ Develop a football game plan that ensures the Club’s on field and off field success
⦁ Play a lead role in player recruitment, retention and skills development
⦁ Manage relationships with all club stakeholders
⦁ Provide strong leadership to the playing group that ensures a supportive team first culture
⦁ Develop/revise code of conduct for coaching staff and players that supports the
objectives of the Club on and off the field
⦁ Establish as soon as possible a profile of all current players and a recruitment
profile to supplement any perceived deficiencies
⦁ Contact all current players as soon as practicable after the completion of the
previous season to outline plans for the upcoming season
To be successful the applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
⦁ A minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation is essential. The ability to work towards obtaining a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation or further is also desirable.
⦁ The desire and drive for personal and team success, with a focus to lead the Club into higher divisions of the Perth Football League
⦁ The ability and experience to implement a well-defined game plan and training structure to ensure on field success
⦁ Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and communicate to all players and club members
⦁ A high level of organizational skills and positive attitude
⦁ Be able to engage with all club members and sponsors
⦁ Ability to bring support staff as needed
