Well round 18 turned out to be really interesting, with more than a few surprises that I certainly didn’t see coming!

Coolbinia absolutely thrashed High Wycombe and gained enough percentage to jump back into 5th spot.
The valley boys will be absolutely kicking themselves after making a late charge they lost to canning Vale by more than what they would of liked to costing the a finals chance.
Stirling snuck in a late win for the season against Dianella Morley, who I hear did rest a few players.

Elimination final
Dianella Morley v Coolbinia
I think with the way Coolbinia have been playing they should get up in a close one. DM got the jump with a big win in rd2 but Coolbinia came back and secured a win in rd11. I’d imagine DM to come out fast and put that fast paced scoring pressure on early, whilst Coolbinia like to slow down and play short style of play.
Coolbinia by 2 goals

Qualifying final
Quinns v Kwinana
Kwinana makes the long trip up freeway north to Quinns for what should be another close game. Quinns do play well at home and I think the travel will be to much for Kwinana and last I herd they still might be missing a couple of blokes with injuries. I’d expect this game to remain close all day with Quinns running away in the last.
Quinns by 5 goals

Congratulations to Canning Vale who finished the season on top of the ladder and the boys will be know doubt at the Ridgewood Park keeping a close eye on the game and cheering on there ressies side.

Ressies:
Swan valley v Kwinana

Coolbinia v canning Vale

Good luck everyone this weekend

Good game to finish the season on the weekend KTB. A poor third quarter cost Valley. CV got out of the blocks early i think kicking the first 5 then Valley kicked back with the next 3. Half time only 2 goals the difference and CV took it up another notch in the 3rd and Valley got left behind and just contstantly turned the ball over and got crucified for it.

We knew of the high wycombe score and the fact we had to win so to come out in the third and not fire wasn't great. We won 7 straight coming home and some costly losses in the first round hurt.

CV easily the best team we've played in the second half of the year. I think Quinns Vs CV grand final and I do think it'll be close but CV should win. Anything can happen on GF day though.

This weeks games:
Collbinia beat CV then lost to Kwinana and Valley so on their day have proven they are contenders but lost their best player 2 rounds ago who I believe broke an ankle or leg perhaps?? Dianella are a team that are also up and down as they knocked off Kwinana 2 weeks ago but were badly beaten by CV 2 weeks prior to that so you just don't know which team will show up. Coolbinia were on a nice roll a few weeks ago too so can't be discounted here and I'm going to tip DM by 2 goals.

Quinns Vs Kwinana I think is going to blow out. Quinns are easily the second best team and I think will play off in the GF against CV. Kwinana have had a great year coming up from C3 and I thought they would finish 6 or 7 so have done really well. Their girls team and reserves also made finals so the club would be super happy with their year to be honest. They played 4 of the top 5 winning 2 so have definitely earnt their spot but I'm expecting Quinns to take this game up 10 notches and win by 8 goals.
