Last round of the year! It has gone pretty quick in my eyes but with the finals coming up the tough stuff starts now.. We still havent got a top 5! one game decides it and what better way to face each other off for it.

Cobras (1st) vs Forrestdale (9th) - Cobras have played this year perfectly and deserve to be up there and the depth seems to be very high with both league & reserves in top spot! Forrestdale have been up and down this year very young team and there colts are flying so a bright future if the players are retained... Cobras will finish the regular season on top winning here by 10 goals

Yanchep (8th) vs Armadale (11th) - Yanchep are much the same as forrestdale with a young team they can only get better and i think they should look at buying a bus because geez a bit of travel for them every second week is hard! Armadale have struggled but have persisted this year with them next year going to one sole team due to the forfeits they can re group and push for a stronger team in years to come. Yanchep to finish the year off with a win 10 goals

Roleystone (3rd) vs Bayswater (7th) - Roleystone have had a terrific year coming up into a two team grade and matched it all year credit to the committee for getting the club into that position. Bayswater are different side each week hard to read at times can play footy! seems they have a few fifo workers and when the team is home they can match it with the best, next year they will be up there if they can string a few more wins. Roleystone will get up but wont be easy hard game hopefully 4 goals

Noranda (6th) vs Lakes (5th) - WE HAVE A MATCH TO WATCH HERE! MOTR surely deciding the final 5! Noranda have been a strong team but there inconstancy has put them in this position but much the same with the lakes as well! Lakes have dropped a few games they wish they hadn't there % is up there proving they can play... tough ask here to travel to Lighting park. i really cant pick here DRAW..? % wins the game.. either way the spectators win the day!

Piara (2nd) vs Rossmoyne (4th) - much like Cobras, Piara deserve to be up there, they have been consistence all year and the depth is helpful. Rossmoyne have come hard at the end of year here taking it to who front them. this will be a another close match with finals next week for both teams this game will draw a crowd to get there team over the line. Piara have won the previous match and had a bye last week with fresh legs should get up here but only just 4 goals.

Cobras vs Forrestdale - Cobras have been the best team all year so yes they deserve the minor premiership and will get up over a youthful Forrestdale side. Cobras may take the opportunity to rest some players before finals as Piara will not be able to make up the percentage. Cobras to get up by 100 points regardless.

Yanchep vs Armadale - Will be interesting to see if Atmadale get a full side travelling all the way up to Yanchep but I hope they do as they have done so well to stick at it this year even though they have been belted by 150 points on occasions. Yanchep have had a decent season and they will look to finish on a good note and I think they will get up by 100 if not for an Armadale forfeit.

Roleystone vs Bayswater - It's been a great season from the tigers coming up to C4 and no one knowing what to expect from them. I think they'll be pretty happy with their top 3 finish. Bayswater started the season with 2 wins and have been inconsistent since and recently have struggled to field a ressies side. Roleystone would want to keep their winning form going into finals so my tip is Roley by 80 points.

Noranda vs Lakes - Has to be MOTR this is pretty much an elimination final already since the loser will not play next week. Noranda have been very solid at home of late and play the big oval really well. Lakes have dropped off the pace a bit with some disappointing results in big games so my tip is Noranda by 4 goals.

Piara vs Rossmoyne - What a great turn around it has been from Piara Waters I just noticed they didn't win a game last year so it's a credit to them with the footy they are playing and they definitely deserve their top 2 finish with only 1 loss for the year which was all the way back in round 1. Rossy have been pretty consistent all year and have been able to challenge the big teams so expecting a pretty good game here but think Piara will be too strong and want to keep winning form going and they'll get up by 5 goals.

Both great write ups gents. Thanks.
What a better way to finish off the year with a game that decides who plays finals and who doesn’t. I know for me come 4:30 Saturday afternoon I’ll be refreshing the app like crazy to see the scores. Regardless of who losses you can almost bank on either club dropping a one or two handy players back to the ressies to help with there finals campaign.
I’m tipping Lakes in a close one by 14 points.

Cobras will be too good for Forrestdale and win quite comfortably. They will then have the luxury of having another week off.

Agree with HMac on this, will be interesting to see if Armadale get numbers up for a run in yanchep, either way I think yanchep will win by 10 goals
Good luck to Armadale in the Sunday comp next year.

Rollystone to get up over Bayswater by 8 goals and start preparing for Piara in the first week of finals.

Piara to keep on rolling along nicely and have a win against rossmoyne by 6 goals.
Piara will host the first week of finals at home, which will be huge for a club that didn’t win a game last year.

Enjoy the games on the weekend and good luck everyone

Cobras V Forrestdale - Cobras with league and ressies taking out top spot, a fantastic effort and you would have to think they are bound for c3.
Forrestdale will struggle on the bigger deck, for that reason I’m tipping the Cobras by 20goals.

Roleystone V Bayswater - Roley have taken c4 by storm, taking out 3rd spot without dropping a single game at home. Bayswater have been up and down this year, but the signs are looking good for their future. Will need to recruit some depth as it looks like they are struggling in the 2’s. Home ground advantage is a big thing for roley and I think they’ll get it done by 6 goals.

Yanchep v Armadale - credit to Armadale for sticking it out for the year. Hopefully they can rebuild and come back through to the 2 team comp in future years.
Unfortunately they are going to bow out of c4 with a defeat and a heavy one at that, home ground advantage for Yanchep will see them get up by 20 goals.

Piara V Rossmoyne- What a turnaround a year makes! All 4 sides at Piara are finals bound, with their women, ressies and league all seeing up top 2 finishes. An amazing turnaround for the club from
last year and credit to all involved.
Rossy will be happy enough with a finals berth this year, they’ve been decent without being amazing all year. Credit to them on getting both sides into finals, I know they’ve traditionally struggled for numbers in the 2’s.
I expect this one to be closish, but Piara with a bit too much class across the board and will get up by 4 goals.

Noranda V Cockburn Lakes MOTR - No brainer really, both sides set the pace early but dropped a few close ones that ultimately hurt them in the end. So much on the line in this one, with no tomorrow for the loser.
I expect this one to have fireworks, with nothing left on the ground. Due to home ground advantage I’m going with Noranda by a point.

Good luck to all tomorrow!
