First it was Bruce Springsteen who uttered these words and now MrM…
“Is there anybody alive out there?!
A Grade continues to produce some interesting results week in week out and yet as MrM sits here on his morning commute to punch in his time card, no one seems to be interested in the current competition. Maybe we are all burned out from late night winter TV, however MrM never has excuses, don’t be bitter, BE BETTER, join in and have some fun.
Off the field MrM could not be better, did anyone see the English Test score over night? MrM is very confident heading into the Ashes next week and things are looking good. As for other events, usually medal ceremonies are the boring part of swimming championships, but currently, they are the highlight…if you watch the highlights as it isn’t on FTA TV or even on MrM favourite streaming service…K*** (MrM for legal reasons cannot name).
Let us look at this weekend, if anyone even reads this anymore, enjoy.
Trinity Aquinas v Fremantle C.B.C @Bill Grayden Reserve
One of these sides had a great win last weekend, the other a disappointing loss, if you looked at the ladder positions and tried to guess, then you would be wrong. TA’s believe it or not, avoided relegation for now and on the same hand can still sneak into finals if all goes there way, if they can pinch a game like this weekend, it becomes a real possibility. Freo C.B.C has twice lost to North Freo this season and has nearly all but guaranteed Scarborough finishing top. Will be close, but Freo CBC should rebound.

North Beach v Wembley @Charles Riley Reserve
North Beach did what they needed to last weekend to get a win and will be out to make sure they don’t lip up like they did last time against Wembley. Wembley, well they need a win and having already knocked off North Beach this season, why can’t they do it again? Well MrM will say why, North Beach back at home, wanting revenge…Look out for the wombles.

Scarborough v Kingsley @Millington Reserve
Scarborough looked very agitated last weekend against Wanneroo. Things didn’t go their way, and even a well-respected player copped a Red Card to compound their problems (MrM hope he got 2 weeks). But they still walked away with a victory. They face a Kingsley side looking to avoid relegation, but will have their work cut out for them this weekend. Kingsley will be hoping for a good showing and if they can’t win and honourable loss without too much damage to their percentage would be ok.

University v Kingsway @UWA Sports Park MOTR
A big game for the two sides here so it is this weekends Match Of The Round.
The 123, Uni boys are we, are flying at the moment and have got themselves into a good position as they work towards finals and know if they keep doing, as they should, can finish in that top 3. Kingsway let one slip last weekend and finals hopes may take a dent if they cannot get over the line this weekend and results may go against them. Uni are looking good, Uni holidays are over. I think a good win here may be expected.

Wanneroo v North Fremantle @Wanneroo Showgrounds
The Showgrounds has a brand new fence around the perimeter. No it hasn’t replaced the white picket fence, MrM is talking about around the whole complex of you will and it looks great. Aside from there performance last weekend in 3 quarters against Scarborough, there aren’t many more exciting things to talk about. North Freo will be hoping to replicate their recent form especially last weekend, but in a night game, past players day for Wanneroo…MrM smells a boil over.

Good luck all.
