After a week off we should all be refreshed and ready for another installment of MrM’s weekly piece of pure gold. If you are not ready then perhaps give yourself a few more days off but make sure you are back for Saturday because we have 5 games of football which all have a great impact on how the season will shape.
If you are like MrM then you have spent the past week watching all the excitement in sport around this time of the year. World Cup, Tennis, Le Tour and many more! You name it and MrM probably saw it, meanwhile MrM puts his search for MrsM on the backburner. MrM is also road tripping this weekend in the hope to find a pure succulent golden hot chip, clubs have been put on notice and it is good to them living up to expectations.
Without further adieu, let us look at this weekend and get those mouths watering, (for the chips) and football.
North Fremantle v Kingsway @Gil Fraser Oval
In a game very unlucky not to be this weekends MOTR, this game is huge for the season outlook. North Freo need a win if they are to play finals, a loss and it could all be too tough for them needed to make up 2 games to sneak back into the 5. A win and they can set themselves for a good finish to the season. Kingsway all they need to do is win and they’ll get that tow game buffer and pencil them in for a finals berth. Should be lovely down at TheGil Saturday. North Freo will be the jolly bunch.

Fremantle C.B.C v Wanneroo @Morriss Buzzacott Reserve
Last time they turned out Freo C.B.C put in a strong performance and should be locked and loaded ready to do the same this weekend. They do have two other clubs breathing right behind them to get in that 2nd spot on the ladder, but should know they can finish top 3 and get the job done. Facing a big, yet not impossible challenge this weekend is Wanneroo who will be wanting to put up a full 100 minute effort this weekend after failing to last round. It won’t be easy, but MrM is sensing a big sneak upset here.

University v Kingsley @UWA Sports Park
The 123 UNI boys are we, are currently flying and looking very strong in the back half of this season so far. They will be coming out firing ready for a big game after dropping a game to Kingsley last time and can only see them wanting to flex their muscle. Kingsley knows they can get it done if they are good enough and will want to bring their very best on Saturday. MrM usually is good at these things though and I cannot see them getting it done though.

North Beach v Scarborough @Charles Riley Reserve
In a game where they could either duke it out on the Barrack Street Jetty or on the field this game promises to be a big one. North Beach were humbled last round and will not want to put in that performance again, and can ill afford to against a side that will steamroll them given the chance. Scarborough know the boys from the beach will be fired up, but I expect them to take the blows and come through with a solid victory leaving North Beach just outside the top 3 by the rounds end.

Trinity Aquinas v Wembley @Bill Grayden Reserve MOTR
A season defining game for both clubs here, both needing a win, and both call ill afford a loss, so therefore it is this weekend Match Of The Round.
Yes do not adjust your monitors, MrM has chosen a game between 9th v 8th as this weekends MOTR. TA’s are struggling this season losing some close games, but all hope is not lost for the TA’s boys. Win here and they can climb out to 7th and throw the whole relegation battle open, a loss and its trouble all right. As for Wembley it is very much the same, win and they give themselves a two game buffer. Lose and they fall back in the pack. Traditionally winning 5 games will see you just avoid relegation, so Wembley would be in the box seat with a win here. Should be a tight tussle but can see TA’s getting it done at home.

Good luck to all this weekend and congratulations to MrM.
Who completed his write-up before the train entered the station where MrM departs in his morning commute to the coal mines, kudos to you MrM.
