Last Round before the bye - no doubt a few sore bodies that will appreciate the break next weekend.

Bull Creek Leeming and Melville should be a cracker and my MOTR. Having beaten Gosnells last week, Melville would be full of confidence, but I think the Creek in a close one.

Carlisle and Hamersley also likely to be close. Hamersley aren't that bad and Carlisle aren't that good, but expect Carlisle to win.

Watched some of Bassendean last week and expect them to win over Ocean Ridge.

Results this season would indicate that Warnbro should thump Kenwick.

Gosnells and Thornlie should be a cracker too, being the local derby between two Clubs with long histories of playing oneanother. Gosnells had a bad day last Saturday, once again with only their woman's team winning and expect them to bounce back.

Some interesting results this weekend. BC Leeminng and Melville was a close one with Melville having their chances
but unable to get the win going down by 2pts.
BC Leeming remain undefeated.

Carlisle demolished a poor Hamersley Carine.

Ocean Ridge surprised by knocking off Bassendean by 10 points.

Warnbro kept their margin against Kenwick respectable by forgetting how to kick straight., 30 scoring shots to 18 but
only a 22pt margin. Good sides wont let them get away with that.

Final game of the round saw Thornlie win a close one over Gossies at Gossy. The late game means they havent
completely uploaded the stats but by my calculations this puts Thornlie 3rd just 3% behind Melville.
We will see where Thornlie is really at Next round againt the unbeaten BC Leeming.

depends who you ask re ORs 'surprise' win... with the bottom two sides to play, should round out the half way stage with 4 wins (should have been at least 5 - dropping both Bcl and gosnells not ideal)
and with a strong 2s side, definitely will remain competitive in the Cold winter months for a Top5 assault.

Ridge look fairly solid GR, they have made the step back to C1 well and have been unlucky not to claim another scalp or two. At this point 10 wins might see teams sneak into finals, assuming OR with their last two of the first round they would need to win 6 of 9 in the second round which seems unlikely but they could be a chance.

win the next 2, you probably say the reverse fixtures in rnd17 and 18 are wins too... percentages say its a little easier winning 4 of 7 than 6 of 9

Geez Glen, your splitting hairs there mate, and I promise you warnbro in warnbro is no easy win.

The simple way to put it is Ocean Ridge need to beat the sides above them, and they also need to make up 30% Id say outside of the games in round 8 & 9 and 17 & 18 if you can declare them wins, you would need to win 5 of your last 7 because 10 wins and a poor percentage will not get you there
