A good weekend of football awaits us all on Saturday as the rest of Australia either settles into watching football or watching some exciting election coverage Saturday evening.
In the Perth Football League A Grade though we have several twighlight games this weekend, MrM assumes this is to allow the participants to be able to vote en masse, what a fantastic idea.
Off field though this weekend s important for a number of reason, will MrM visit a polling place that has a nice BBQ going so MrM can exercise his democratic right and enjoy a Democracy Sausage?
Does North Fremantle still serve cheesy fruit toast?
We shall await and see this weekend, let us have a look at the games.
Kingsway v University @Kingsway Reserve MOTR
With a big game for both clubs and a lack of games that interest MrM, it is this weekend’s, Match Of The Round.
Kingsway are coming off a fantastic win last weekend and will out to keep that momentum strolling along and a view to finals is a real possibility, standing in their way though is a University side that has been quite hot and cold. Uni have only defeated the bottom two sides so far this season but have put in a good effort in the other two. They will need to bring their best this weekend if they are to bet Kingsway. I think the teal Roos can get it done.
Kingsway by 2 goals
Fremantle C.B.C v Trinity Aquinas @Morriss Buzzacott Reserve
Both sides are coming of somewhat surprise losses last weekend and it’s a game unlucky to not be the MOTR. Freo CBC was defeated by their neighbours last weekend and will want to make amends when they face Trinity Aquinas, a side who also wants to rebound last weekend. TA’s loss last weekend puts them in a precarious position and a loss would see them slipping further down the ladder perhaps. It will be a good game, but can see Freo C.B.C winning here.
Fremantle C.B.C by 3 goals
Kingsley v Scarborough @Kingsley Park
Kingsley would not be happy with their efforts last weekend after surprising the week before. It does not get any easier for them though as they face a side this weekend that just enough last weekend to get a win. Scarborough was good last weekend as they just slipped past Wanneroo and will be hoping they can improve and win big here. Will be a good game, I think Scarborough will be to good.

Wembley v North Beach @Pat Goodridge Reserve
Wembley haven’t had the greatest start to the season however they do have plenty of time to make amends. If they are to do so, a perfect chance is this weekend, however easier said than done. North Beach are coming off a commanding win, and should see themselves as a good chance to do that again this weekend. I think they will as well.
North Beach by 7 goals
North Fremantle v Wanneroo @Gil Fraser Reserve
North Freo will definitely be a jolly bunch this week after they enjoyed the successes of a win last weekend. MrM has said all along they are a good chance to play finals this season and can see them doing so if they keep up current form. Looking to stop that form will be Wanneroo, who were unlucky to not win last weekend, with Gil Fraser being a good place for Wanneroo last time they visited.
It should be a good game, and MrM hears a rumour it is also ladies day, so look out North Freo faithful MrM will be ready and equipped. Sadly for you its forecast as a Wanneroo win.

Good luck all playing and voting this weekend, remember to play fair, vote wisely and do the RIGHT thing.
