Nearly a third of the way through but there is still a lot of football left

Willetton Vs Mt Lawley – Willetton are not playing bad football but are struggling to find their feet. Hopefully it all comes together soon, but not this week. Mt Lawley just keep getting better each week and this week will be no different. Hawks by 8 goals

Collegians Vs Swan Ath - Collegians lost a close one to Kalamunda last week whilst SA lost by 10 goals to the top side. My spies told me it was a better game than what the scoreboard showed, so I’m going SA to win this one by 4 or 5 goals.

Whitfords Vs Maddington – Big game this. Both sides lost by lots last week, but this week is another chance. I’m tipping Whitfords to lose another only because I think Maddington may have missed a few boys last week. Maddington by 4 goals

Kalamunda Vs West Coast – Good win to the cougars last week and this week at home they will have a real go, but WC are playing some great footy at the moment and should win this one comfortably by 5 or 6 goals.

Curtin Wesley Vs Ballajura - My MOTR – for a few reasons CW are holding their Pink Tiger day, so are expecting a huge crowd. Perth Footy Live are broadcasting from South Oval and Ballajura always have a big loud crowd. CW haven’t missed a beat and some groups are suggesting they already have one hand on the cup. Balla on the other hand have started slowly but slowly starting to play football as a team and have started to master being “the hunter rather than the hunted” so if all goes to play the spectators should get to watch a great game of footy.

Shouldn’t get any rain, but she will be cold. Good luck to all teams

Good write up Lozza
My tips are Mt Lawley comfortably over Willetton by 8 goals
Swan Athletic by 5 goals over a struggling Collegians
Maddington to bounce back by 3 goals over hot and cold Whitfords
West Coast to continue their good form and win by 6 goals over Kala
Curtin Wesley to overpower a plucky Ballajura to win by 5 goals

Popped down to MacDonald reserve and watched the last half of the Whitford/Maddington game.

Was a very even tussle with Whitford pulling away in the last with numerous unanswered goals.

Apart from an incident at the end of the game where a Maddington player wanted to fight a Whitford player, it was played in good spirits.

Fairly interesting comp this apart from the Wesley Train.
A few sides right in the mix of finishing top 5.
Percentage looks likely to be the key for the back end of the year.
Well done to ballajura atm as they have made the step up to B grade pretty well so far. A couple of close losses but have been right in most games.
Swan Ath just waiting to swoop mid year when all the WAFL fringe players call it quits so they can have acrack at the second half of the year?
Wesley to be too good all year tho and promotion back to A Grade
