Well with 4 Rounds behind us now it is time too look forward with plenty more football still to be played and we all know anything can happen in those 14 weeks. We are starting to see already which teams are going to be there at the business end, and which teams will have a tough task of staying up, but at this stage, each team is a chance to do both.
In off-field stories MrM is sorry that he is a day late in bringing this to you as a medical emergency in the workplace yesterday ruined efforts to bring you this absolute gold mine. That’s right the office were all getting flu shots and being unable to move MrM’s right arm, meant he was unable to produce, MrM did complete most of the work already though, as he is a diligent individual. Fear not though ladies and gentlemen, MrM is here now, so stress you shall not.
With unavailability due to concerts, perhaps some clubs may be bolstered with the WAFL bye, but who knows I am sure it will be an interesting week player points wise.
Let us look at this weekends games, should be great weather for good football.
North Beach v Kingsley @Charles Riley Reserve
North Beach suffered their first loss last weekend and back at home am sure they will want to be making a statement against a side they should fancy their chances. Kingsley registered their first win last weekend and will be out to do so again, this may be the first time Kingsley has ever played North Beach, but can’t see them winning here.
North Beach by 5 goals
North Fremantle v Fremantle C.B.C @Gil Fraser Oval MOTR
A nice little Fremantle derby here and a big game for both sides here, which is why it is this weekends Match Of The Round
North Freo have started the season off well so far but will want to keep that momentum rolling along, they do however face the current ladder leaders and a side with a point to prove. Freo C.B.C will want to bring their best if they are too win here, after they brought their best and managed to just overcome Wanneroo last weekend…Should be a good game on the right bank of the river.
Fremantle C.B.C by 3 goals
Wanneroo v Scarborough @Wanneroo Showgrounds
So far it has been a tough year for Wanneroo, but things can change. The Roos are looking for their first win this season and given they are at home this weekend, there is no reason why they can’t kick off their campaign, standing in their way though is the mighty fighting Scarbr-iaco. Scarborough is rolling along nicely, and who knows when they will drop their next game…MrM does, this weekend.

University v Wembley @UWA Sports Park
The Uni boys were a shock loser last weekend and can guarantee they will not want to make those back-to-back losses. They do have a good chance to win against a Wembley side struggling in 2019. Wembley will have their work cut out for them but they will still give themselves a good chance here. It will not be enough though.
University by 4 goals
Trinity Aquinas v Kingsway @Bill Grayden Reserve
TA’s are slowly building after an indifferent start and will hope they can build on that this weekend when they face a Kingsway side very much in the same boat as them. Kingsway had a loss last weekend and will know doubt want to atone for that. With both sides looking to play finals, both sides needing a win here to stay in touch and ahead of the ledger, it will be a good contest. I think TA’s will be too good here.
Trinity Aquinas by 2 goals
Good luck to all, and remember it is Respect the Umpire Round, our whistleblowers are fantastic assets to our great game, so do not lose sight of that.
