Very good and well researched point about teams needing more than two teams to win the flag and it would be right across the board in all grades. I can’t remember a two team club winning a flag in any grade for a long time . It is something to think about for the two team clubs that they need an extra team , thirds or colts , to win a flag as that extra team gives your extra players to choose from and an extra recruiting tool for the club .

Yes I have had a bit more of a look at it and I can’t find a two team club having won a flag in any grade for many years. Definitely something to think about for two team clubs.

Dianella/Morley = 2017
Nollamara = 2016 and 2015
Kenwick = 2014
Piara Waters = 2014
