Any news on what’s going on at Armadale? Heard a few players left during their bye week and they were already struggling with numbers. Maybe those that are left could team up with what appears to be a player shortage at Manning too. Are there any other teams struggling or does it seem the Easter ANZAC weekends take their toll with numbers at those particular clubs.

Have also heard both clubs are doing it tough. Armadale had to play the top 2 teams first up and got belted which could be a reason for people leaving.

Looking at the fixture Manning have played the 2 top sides as well.

In round 2, Armadale had 11 players play both league and reserves. There was a meeting held a few days ago to decide whether to withdraw from the Reserves. It looks like this will be their lat year in the Amateurs and will head to the Metro League next year to hopefully rebuild the club.
At least the derbies against Kelmscott can resume in 2020.

Seems to be the story of a fair few clubs around. Unfortunately the league sit on their hands and don’t seem to do anything and keep allowing more teams to join. I feel there will or should be a few club near each other merg. I realise most wont agree but in the end there is only so much sponsors and players out there. Either way good luck to both clubs fingers crossed for both of them to get numbers to compete for the rest of the season.
