Pretty lopsided games all weekend

Canningvale 8.9.57 def Swan Valley 6.8.44
Valley kicked 5-goals to 2 in the first quarter. From then on Canningvale had to chase tail, luckily they switched on after 1/4 time and gradually worked their way back, finally taking the lead in the final quarter and kept Valley scoreless in the final stanza.

Big third term for the Cougars 21.7 - 7.8 @ 3/4 time
Cougars just had too much run for the Valley boys. Numner 1, 10 and the big ruckman for Valley looked good, just not enough help around the ground. Good to see some of them stay back for a beer at the end of the game though. We appreciate it.

Might be a division between the top teams and the bottom. Bassendean must of regrouped. Manning weren't too bad last week. Maybe the coach for Basso had enough holidays and returned. Quinns and Cvale appear the ones doing very well. Cant wait to see when these 2 teams meet to see if Quinns are the real deal.

Colts
the warnbro colts where very clean with their skills and run just outclassed our boys. there was a lot of back and forth either way all day and it broke out in the third i think it was. a yellow each and it all stopped.

Reserves
as usual I only got to watch up until half time for the 2's, was a tighter contest than the score showed, with Warnbro's cleaner skills around the ground they pulled ahead.

League
the big show started for warnbro with a bang they where 9 goals to 1 after the first. from then on our boys resolved to salvage something from the contest the second was an even quarter we started to attack the ball with some purpose and get some forward momentum. in the third warnbro put the foot down again but we held them better than the first although we didn't manage to score this quarter. the last was circlework for a fair bit. we would take it in to our forwardline it would come out back to the other end and we would take it out. a few goals either way to finish off the day. had a few beers in the warnbro clubs before the bus left (I nearly missed it woulda been a long walk) cheers for the drink vouchers they went to good use.

oh and i forgot to add..
after playing both Quinns and Warnbro i think Quinns are slightly better it will be a very close contest and i wouldn't be surprised if it went either way. it just felt like Quinns had more control of the contest would love to watch these two when they play each other.

4-undefeated sides after Round 4. Wouldn't think that would have happened too many times. Percentages being the deciding factor on the ladder say that Quinns and Warnbro are the two heavyweights of the comp and reading above Clarko seems to agree.

Dingo - Valley

The above teams have played three of the four undefeated sides. Out of curiosity, anyone have any other thoughts?

From a Canningvale perspective, we have 4-massive matches coming up. SNESA (A), Canning (H), Wanrbro (A) then Quinns (A). This will really show us where we are at after coming through C4 then C3.

I wasn't selling your boys short LAG you are a very strong side. I just think that Quinns and Warnbro are a step above. luck of the draw with the undefeated sides isn't it having 3 sides without a win and 4 sides undefeated shows the top has played the bottom. it should even out a bit more as the bottom sides play each other.
