Clearances are under way, with pre-season kicking off for most clubs and with the points system in force, how will your team go?
Below are the teams and total points for either the Grand final (with an asterisk) or round 18 last year.
B Grade - points

2 Kalamunda 23
3 Swan Athletic 44
4 Whitford 36
5 Mt Lawley 34
6 Collegians 35
7 West Coast Cowan 43
8 Maddington 42
9 Ballajura 45*
10 Willetton 31*

If Ballajura can recruit a couple of key talls they will be a handful for most sides this season as they are one of the youngest and quickest sides around with good club depth.

I totally agree Major, that’s the only area they are lacking in, the talls department

Player points will be a big issue for a few of these Clubs that don't have a whole lot of points available to play with - and going by the WAAFL Clearances page, Ballajura will have the most issues.

Bit selective on commenting here Stinker? Seems like all grades have some big name recruits. Are you suggesting that it’s only the ones in B grade that aren’t quite right?

I’m fairly certain our only daily newspaper mentioned an afl premiership player potentially playing C4 amongst other things.

Just trying to work out what the well connected not lower grades comment comes from.

Might have something to do with the heavy influx of ex WAFL and AFL players coming into the ammos every year at the "higher grades" yet apart from a interview or two to said players... all good.

If the Wesley Curtin List finished last year as a 32 Player Points club and assuming they are not losing any 3 or 4 point players, then they can only pick up three WAFL players for an additional 12 points in a best case scenario.

That is what the points system was introduced for so unless they intend to play these guys in the reserves I can't see how they could possibly fit them in!
