Bassendean Amateur Football Club are seeking expressions of interest for coaching roles for the 2019 season. We are a Community Club currently fielding 4 sides in the C1, C1R, Ian Dargie Colts and E2.
Positions available :
C1 League (Head Coach)
C1 Reserves
Ian Dargie Colts
Thirds
The club has been recently promoted to C1 (after winning the C2 premiership in 2017). In our first year back in C1 we finished the regular season -3rd in the league, 5th in the reserves, 1st in the colts and 6th in the thirds. We have a strong core group of young players progressing into senior football from our colts program for season 2019. The on field success of the club in recent years is a result of a strong core group of young league footballers who are proactive in their approach towards helping get the promoted to B grade or higher.
Candidates will be required to have, or working towards the following criteria :
C1 League Coach
Playing coaches will definitely be considered for this role.
- Level 2 accreditation or higher (or willing to obtain)
- Working with children check (club can help source)
- Experience in coaching or playing C grade level or higher.
- Ability to lead, direct and work collaboratively with the clubs lower grades coaches in regards to club
values, training regimes and game day practices.
- Ability to work with all coaches on player recruitment, retention and development.
- Demonstrate a positive and well planned training program that will engage players.
- Ability to continue to work with and build positive relationships with the junior football club.
- Be driven towards success and helping ensure promotion into B grade or higher.
- Have good communication skills.
Remuneration will be discussed on an individual basis
