Great effort by the Cockburn Cobra Ressies getting in G/F.

Also great sportmanship by Os Park for getting around Cobra player with serious injury.
That is what community footy is about, as we have all seen in recent tragic events.

Don’t you mean Cobras League team? Never made any sense that the League team be banished from finals but reserves still eligible. Any club in the same situation would have qualified their league team for ressies finals so can’t blame them but has impacted the credibility of the C4 Reserves competition in 2018

No not the league team. The ressies finished second in 2017, won the 2nd semi final and had booked spot in G/f last year.

They were then ripped from occasion ( and as i am well and truely on record informing all and sundry......because of 'unjust' reasons. Thats putting it nice.)

This year they have been hampered by players having to play league and on numerous times along with colts having to back up.
Regardless have repeated acheivement, kudos to all involved on keeping club together and on getting colts to play first finals ever.

bit rough there Rumour mill out of their team named in their Ressies team for last weekends final 6 of them played regular league games last year, hardly seems like a club that has dropped their league team down. Credit to them for hold a club together this season

Rumour Mill i think you will find when a league side isn't playing finals the reserves side is usually bolstered by a couple of qualified league players. Happens in all grades every year.

Would be near on impossible to qualify a full/majority of a league team in the reserves considering they have to play 5 games to be eligible during the year.

Looking at the ladder the cobras finished 5th and just got over the line in the elimination final if they had their league team playing they would have smoked everyone during the year and finished top of the ladder.

Not sure how this club can be any more community minded considering what it has been subjected too?

Has done a complete job on knee.

Acl, mcl, miscus and dislocated knee cap, went down in first 10 mins of game.

Os. Park players and coaches assisted with stretcher duties and care.
Great to see 'rally around' in what was a do or die prelim final.

Cobra family getting around as would be expected.
