Very quiet on the B Grade front this season.

Would be interested to hear from anyone from the clubs involved in this weekends preliminary finals as to their thoughts.

I'M also interested Nugget especially the result of Kingsley belting 2nd place CBC last week.
Did Nth Freo have some good players out or are Kingsley that good ? if so they should do very well in A's nxt yr ? or is B grade not as strong as last yr?

Sounds like a bad week allround for the Maggie’s with their league copping a belting, their 2’s suffering their first loss of the year and the 3’s being booted out of the finals for playing an ineligible player!

Ouch, no good for nth Freo.
Nth Freo will compete in a grade, Kingsley will get flogged week in week out. Swan Ath the dark horse, two big forwards that can rip a game apart.

After being knocked off at home by Wanneroo in last years prelim Nth Freo will be out to ensure there is no repeat but as well all know alot of this game is played upstairs and after being easily accounted for on the weekend against Kingsley the danger signs are there that Swan Ath could repeat the dose of 2017.

I am tipping Nth Fremantle in a close one.

In respect to Kingsley already securing their spot in A Grade I disagree they will be easy beats and will finish just out of the five next year.

I'd be interested to hear what you've based your thoughts (Kingsley getting flogged in A grade while Nth Freo being competitive) on mate, especially considering one of them beat the other by 12 goals last week? Kingsley have had a fantastic season that we hope goes on for 1 more game. The development of the group has been nothing short of amazing, of which everyone involved with thr team should feel proud of. Groves has galvenized the boys greatly and has brought some very impressive professionalism. In saying that, still 1 game to go and hopefully the boys bring home the flag that they deserve.

Kingsley colts won 2 games this year.
If the history of a grade tells us anything it's that u need depth, when your colts get belted by 100+ points every week they will fold like the long list of ex Sunday league clubs before them. And more recently , hamersly.
I think it's great Kingsley have done well this year, I'm really surprised they belted nth Freo on the weekend which may indicate how much I know about football.
Nth Freo have the depth to compete in a grade, I personally don't think Kingsley do. Guess we will find out in 2019.

My tip is swan Ath will do Kingsley in the gf, the boys from the valley have a few tricks up there sleeve, guess we will see this week.

Looks like the boys left the tricks up the sleeve on the weekend...
I agree with you in part on the Kingsley colts situation - we have struggled for a few years and need to improve in that area to ensure we can stay in A grade for years to come. In saying that, Groves and others have been putting a lot of work into this area and hopefully we will see results from all the work. Also, we may struggle for numbers and depth in colts, but we have some great top-end talent, which was evident with multiple colts playing rep footy this year.
Time will tell I guess, but for now the only thing anyone at the club is thinking about is this weeks grand final.
Should be a ripping game.

Geez the top 4 sides in B grade played some close games over the past 6 or 7 weeks. except for the finals blow outs. I spoke to one of the umpys who was at the North Fremantle and Whittfords game a couple of weeks ago and he said North Fremantle were lucky to beat Whittfords. They must be ok. Maddington improved as the year went on, Mt Lawley were always there and about by the look. Will be a interesting comp in 2019. Im tipping North Fremantle will win the gf in an upset.
