100% There was quite a few Nolla players pretty disgusted in their own team and told many to shutup including the pissed lady on the field but unfortunate it was only a handful out of 100's

Not sure about that - Frank did a nice stitch up at the Valley a few weeks back - and was openly encouraged from the bench to "Make sure you even it up". I don't like bagging umpires but that bloke is a disgrace as well as DM for allowing it to continue.

Personally, if any club was embarrassed about their umpire and his behaviour, they would move him on.....Most clubs don't so that indicates they usually support that behaviour.

Luckily for all neutral umpires for finals and can't come quick enough

I've witnessed some very poor umpiring from said umpire this year at DM.

Bluntly he is a joke!

How do we get this to change in the future in all games is what I want to know?

Neutral umpires in the perfect world but getting them is the problem?

I would love to see an umpiring pool based on talent / experience and then they get allocated by the league.

Not many people will join it though as they like hanging with their mates which is fine.

Thoughts?

If the changes happen that people have been speaking about on here we won’t have to worry about him umpiring a Dianella game next year as the pool concept won’t be a concept.

Here’s hoping it happens. I’ve read a few times it’s coming.

Correct Viper it is definitely going to be implemented come next season which will weed out the shit from the decent club umps

So the said umpires will be umpiring all different clubs, wow that will be interesting.
If those guys are forced out of umpiring that wont help much as many clubs below c1 have guys doing 2 sometimes more games in a row.
I can see a few no shows and misscomunications or DM 9th v Nolla 10th wow ... thank you.

If you get someone impartial to your club it typically doesn’t matter. The only ones who give a shit are the ones who have a link to the club. It’s definitely a good thing.

Downside is if they bloke hates your club he’ll still cheat anyway but chances are much less.

Will only affect league games down to C4 apparently
