Round 12 is up and we are two thirds through the regular season. Some great write ups through the year so far so thanks to all those who have supplied us with some great footy reads. This week brings some more great games which will continue to shape the top 5 in both the league and ressies. Although there is not a lot of difference in the teams in both the league and reserves ladders, it will be interesting to see how much this changes over the next 6 weeks as clubs try to qualify players in both teams.
Quinns vs Bassendean
Should be a cracker of a game after Quinns beat Kenwick last week and Bassendean had a loss. I think Quinns can produce another upset at home Quinns by 10 points
Carlisle vs Ballajura
Carlisle after beating Gosnells away with be primed and ready for the ladder leaders at home this week. Balla who had a tough win against Melville but lost a few players with injury could be at risk, but I think their depth will show and they will get up by a goal – unless they can finish then it might be a few goals
Melville vs Stirling
Melville coming of a hard-fought loss to the ladder leaders will bounce back in a big way against an undermanned Stirling and if the weather is good should win by over 100 points
Kenwick vs Bullcreek Leeming
Kenwick won’t be happy with their loss last week and will be looking to bounce back at home. BL are not as bad as their position shows, and will be trying to finish the season of with a few wins. I think the Creek can win this one by 2 goal
Willetton vs Gosnells
Another cracker of a game with Gosnells on a 2-game losing streak and Willetton winning 6 of their last 7. Willetton for me at home as I think they are the current inform side and probably the biggest danger to the league leaders. Willetton by goals
Good luck to all teams and let’s hope the weather is superb for playing and viewing
