Well, well, well we back again for another and I can tell every is excited.
Chat about A Grade is buzzing…except not about the weekend’s games, it is buzzing about the potential new points system to be bought in which is great. Great to see everyone is passionate about community football in this forum and good to see such a robust discussion being had. MrM would welcome a points system sort out equality, points penalties should apply to those who have subpar canteen facilities and failure to produce good hot chips.
Many people approach MrM on a Saturday and say you should put this in your write up this week, well MrM has some advice, join in and talk about it yourself. We need healthy debate after boothead, who was a simple man, got himself ostracised and can no longer tell us about the inner workings of a club. So, join in all, MrM knows you are out there…You too will be rewarded when MrM announces his prize soon.
MrM does apologise for lack of write up last week as MrM was on the road this week for work and unable to deliver. However, sitting here now in the QANTAS lounge re to get back to WA MrM knows this week he will deliver.
It is time for this weekend’s games.
Scarborough v University @Abbett Park
A good match up here to kick start our weekend. Scarborough are clearly one of the form teams of the competition and will be out to show University why they mean business this Saturday. With their obvious strengths they are a hard team to defeat, but I am sure the Uni boys will be hoping for a good showing this weekend. Uni will need to win to maintain touch with the top teams on the ladder, but it may be a task to far this weekend.

Trinity Aquinas v North Beach @Bill Grayden Reserve MOTR
In a game that will mean so much to either side, it is the reason it is this weekend’s Match Of The Round.
TA’s know they need to win if they are any chance of pushing for a top 3 spots come the later part of the season. They have improved since the last time these sides played, but it will be a hard contest. North Beach themselves are looking to win and looking to keep that gap up with the teams below them. I expect a good showing here, and think TA’s can get it done at home.

Kingsway v Kalamunda @Kingsway Reserve
Kingsway let themselves down last weekend losing a game they should have won and will need to win this game to put a buffer between them and the bottom of the ladder. They do face a dangerous Kalamunda side though that could bring the intensity come Saturday. Kalamunda need a win as much as anybody and will take it right up to Kingsway, I think Kingsway will get it done here though.

Fremantle CBC v Wembley @Morris Buzzacott Reserve
For MrM, last weekend was the first time he has seen the Freo CBC outfit and boy did they look impressive. Moved the ball well and got it up forward with ease at times. Wembley fresh of a good win will have their hands full this weekend against a quality opponent. In a battle for the social pages of The West (yes certain to a Freo CBC player…MrM saw the photo in the The West Social pages).
Freo will be far too good here though.

Curtin Uni Wesley v Wanneroo @South Oval
For Curtin Uni Wesley they need to start performing now to make anything of this season. They would be smarting after only winning one game thus far and out to prove they are better than their record dictates. Wanneroo will need to bounce back after two tough losses in recent weeks and can start here this weekend, it won’t be easy but I think they can get it done.

Good luck all. If you see MrM looking a little bleary eyed it is because he will be watching some cricket, soccer and cycling in the early hours of the morning in the coming weeks. Please spare a though for MrM.
