Well what a week it has been for MrM not only was it the final for Bachelor in Paradise but MrM also managed to outdo and reach new heights once more and get 9/9 in AFL tipping. It is not MrM sits here and gloats about the fact that he indeed a step above everyone else in life, because quite frankly, MrM isn’t.
MrM is just your regular man, a man of the people, which is why many revere MrM. MrM’s wisdom and knowledge of local community football goes far beyond your regular deckchair supporter, MrM knows you, but do you know MrM.
As promised MrM said he would keep you informed of his online dating life, well it’s been a tough week, MrM may hit up Ross Lyon to see if he has any tips on what to say...Clearly MrM jest’s, don’t come after me Ross the Boss.
Great work Boothead you are definitely moving up in the world, not quite upper echelon, but keep working and you may soon arrive. Let us have a look at this week’s football action.
Trinity Aquinas v Fremantle CBC @Bill Grayden Reserve
In a game very close to the MOTR, (hard to go past a local derby of sorts...more on that later) we see TA’s looking to keep rolling after their impressive win last weekend. I am sure the TA’s boys will be very much buoyed after two big wins in recent weeks, although they face a big test here against the undefeated Freo CBC. Fremantle CBC has yet to drop a game this season, although they face a few big tests in the coming week. It starts here though and I expect TA’s to give it a good crack, but I think Freo CBC to keep on rolling.
Fremantle CBC by 3 goals.
North Beach v Scarborough @Charles Riley Reserve MOTR
The two coastal teams (why not) play each other as they face each other on the field, not on a river cruise like in 2017, that is why it is this week’s Match Of The Round.
North Beach will be hoping to end Scarborough’s unbeaten run when these two face off on Saturday but it is up to North Beach to stop the ball going forward as Scarborough have seemingly done that with ease over the first 4 weeks. Scarborough, will be hoping for much of the same when they face last season’s grand finalists easy supply to the potent forward line. I am thinking that Scarborough will be a touch to good here.
Scarborough by 2 goals
Kingsway v Curtin University Wesley @Kingsway Reserve
Although failing to win a game so far this season, Kingsway last weekend put in a good performance against a tough opponent, however good performances count for little when you don’t get the 4 points. They face Curtin Wesley who has been a bit of all sorts so far this season. They had a good win away, but the other games they haven’t performed. If things do not click this weekend, I can see them losing.
Kingsway by 1 goal
Kalamunda v University @Ray Owen Reserve
Kalamunda are another side who have failed to put in consistent performances week in week out registering only one win thus far. The come up against University who bounced back last weekend with a convincing win. It will be a nice trip up the hill for Uni who will no doubt be looking ot keep that winning feeling rolling on. They will here, but it will be close.
University by 3 goals
Wembley v Wanneroo @Pat Goodridge Reserve
Well night football is at Wembley this weekend and MrM is looking forward to it. Wembley had a tough time last weekend and will be hoping for a much better performance this weekend; they do face a Wanneroo side that definitely came away with its tail between its legs last weekend. If Wanneroo bring last week’s performance then it won’t be enough, however I am sure the Roos will rebound in the best way possible.
Wanneroo by 4 goals
Well that is it for another week, good luck to all people playing.
