It is getting harder & harder to pump out these match predictions after the poor showings my club has dished out the last few weeks but hey that is football after all, and the fine people of OzFooty deserve the best which is what they will receive here.

Scarborough vs Kalamunda @The Mill
Scarborough are absolutely flying, they are 3 from 3 and dont look they will be stopped anytime soon. Scarboroughs depth and experience is going to be hard to beat this side and they come up against a team on the opposite end of the ladder in Kalamunda who barring a first week win over Kingsway have been pretty ordinary to put it lightly. This could be ugly.
Scarborough by 12 Goals.

Fremantle CBC vs Kingsway @Morris Buzzacott
CBC proved that they are the real deal last week with a huge win against North Beach away from home, and will move into round 4 with alot of confidence thinking that they are a huge chance in 2018. Whilst my boys have had a very difficult couple of weeks being taught what A grade is all about against last years grand finallists and it doesnt get any easier here away from home. Im not going to paper over the cracks here.
Fremantle CBC by 8 Goals.

Wesley Curtin vs North Beach @South Oval
Wesley broke their duck last week with a comfortable win at arguably the toughest road trip in A Grade footy, and will come into this game buoyed that they can continue their winning ways. Whilst the beach suffered defeat for the first time since grand final day last year and will be look to redeem themselves this week. This will be closer then expected.
North Beach by 3 Goals.

University vs Wembley @McGillvary
University learnt last week not to doubt the new boys as anyone is capable of a win in A Grade which wanneroo to their credit showed in spades last week and Uni will not want to move to 1 & 3 this early in the season. They face a young wembley side who to their credit fought hard on the weekend but still were off the mark against the flag favourites. Uni will bounce back here.
Uni by 3 Goals.

Trinity Aquinas vs Wanneroo @Billy Grayden MOTR
If someone had of told me 4 weeks ago that this would be this weeks match of the round i would have been telling you that you were kidding yourself but i must eat my words on that one. Wanneroo havent really done much recruiting over the summer but their bunch of so called "unknowns" are certainly batting a few eyelids and will go into this game with a massive chance against a TA's side who notched their first win on the weekend against a poor Kingsway side. This really could go either way.
Trinity Aquinas by 3 Goals.

Good luck to all teams.

Great write up BootHead. I'm sure it will click for the Teal Roos, they are a quality club and side.

Agree with the match of the round. It has been a solid start by the Wanneroo boys and they are enjoying the challange each week. Wanneroo are especially honour to be involved in TA's Anzac game this week. While footy should never be compared to war it will be great to watch these two teams do battle. TA's are a high quality side and proved that last week
Tipping with my heart here, Wanneroo by the smallest margin 2 points.

Scarborough to keep the strong going - 10 goals
A big ask for Kingsway to travel to CBC's home ground. CBC have proven to be a serious contender this year and this will continue. CBC 5 goals.
North Beach to bounce back against an improving Curtin. North Beach 2 goals.
University should be too good for Wembley at home - 3 goals.

Good luck to everyone this week. May the results continue to surprise.

Well what an exciting and week it has been for MrM and others I am sure. Fresh after a big weekend where MrM was once again on the lookout for a potential yet ever eluding MrsM, MrM sat back and came to realise that a change in approach is needed. MrM has decided to try Internet dating, where you can be anyone who you want to be. People have warned MrM about the dangers of meeting people online, however past experiences had led MrM to believe all who meet this great gent after seeing, reading and hearing him online will be overcome by emotion and offer him free drinks. (One can only hope). Please wish MrM luck in his journey, I will keep you all updated, much like his relentlessness with his hot chip campaign MrM’s perseverance knows no bounds so expect results.

In other news MrM will be compiling a list of his favourite A Grade players shortly, however having not experienced these heights in a while MrM needs help. After MrM helped the Big Yuke, The Bonce and The Brothers of Destruction become household names, MrM needs some submissions of your favourites. We all know The Big Shuff is a favourite of MrM or even recently Milburn Pennybags might get a mention, but what about some of your favourites, let MrM know.

MrM has some advice for you Boothead...stick fat. Even though your beloved football club may be struggling you are welcomed on here. MrM does bristle at the fact you called Wanneroo “unknowns” as MrM is a known however am willing to forgive...

Enough dribble from yours truly, I shall get into it.

Scarborough v Kalamunda @Millington Reserve

It is clear Scarborough is flying at the moment and is setting the benchmark when it comes to performance, they are definitely a force to reckoned with and I can see them only getting better moving forward. Kalamunda are a side who will need to rebound after 2 fairly disappointing weeks. It will be a big test for all involved, but am looking forward to see how this game plays out. I think it will be close, but Scarborough to win.
Scarborough by 5 goals

Fremantle CBC v Kingsway @Morris Buzzacott Reserve

A battle of two teams at opposite ends of the ladder but that really counts for nothing. Freo CBC are going along swimmingly and will be looking to keeping the rolling along when they face A grade newcomers in Kingsway. Kingsway haven’t been able to register a win as of yet, but have still put in a few good performances. I think they will rebound, but Freo CBC to get a good win.
Fremantle CBC by 6 goals

Curtin University Wesley v North Beach @South Oval

Curtin Uni surprised all when they overcame Kalamunda away from home last weekend and will be hoping that is the catalyst to start their season. They will face a formidable opponent here who will no doubt be smarting from last weekend’s result. North Beach will be looking to rebound and improve after losing last weekend and I think they will definitely come out firing. I can see the beach getting up in a close one.
North Beach by 2 goals

University v Wembley @UWA Sports Park

Uni will regather after last week’s loss and will be hoping to improve. Although they weren’t bad by any means I am sure that they know they can improve after last weekend’s efforts. They face a Wembley side wanting to make their mark on A Grade. Wembley will not want to fall to 1-3 and I am sure they will be out to do everything to square their win loss ledger although beating Uni at home may be a bridge to far.
University by 2 goals

Trinity Aquinas v Wanneroo @Bill Grayden Reserve MOTR

Well it is looking like a closer battle than most expected and without any better match to take its place, adds in the fact it’s for an ANZAC Remembrance it is this week’s Match Of The Round.
TA’s got their first win last weekend in convincing fashion and I am sure they will want to keep that rolling this week. They do have a fairly big side and that may challenge Wanneroo, but am sure the Roos will be ready. Wanneroo impressed for brief moments last weekend and can definitely improve on those efforts and they will want to if they are to challenge the reigning premier. MrM is looking forward to it and will go with the upset win.
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Good luck to all playing, please keep in mind it is community football and MrM will see you around. If you see MrM buy him a beverage thank you.

Great effort from your boys yesterday BootHead.

We didn't see the 100+ point margin coming either but we got a big lesson today. Trinity were slick and played sinitlating football, they really did their 'Old Boys' proud.
They were just way too good all over the park. Apart from the first 5mins they dominated the game in every way.

Hopefully MrM can provide a more detailed game summary.

Well what an interesting Round of results.
Some thumping’s dished out and probably justifiably so on performance.

MrM made the trip down to Como on a nice autumn day ready for some football action and ready to see what Trinity Aquinas could offer MrM in terms hospitality.
As MrM settled in for the Colts game is was clear to see the young Roos brigade were ready to roll and came out looking to register their first win of the season. Well they did just that as they played some good football all day and finished the day as winners.

Well MrM was so excited when he saw the Colts play, optimism was high and was looking forward to see what the Reserves game could offer. We it offered one way traffic, and that one way seemed to be straight into the Trinity Aquinas forward line. Then Wanneroo looked like a good chance when the ball rebounded so quickly...MrM soon realised that it was simply the boundary umpires getting the ball back to the middle promptly after each goal.
Outclassed by a much better opposition and players could almost take solace in the fact when the siren went it wasn’t over 100.

After that MrM needed a drink and some deep fried potato goodness to sooth his soul.
Chips weren’t too bad, could have used a smidgen more in the deep fryer, MrM likes his chip crispy, but overall a grand effort. 7/10.

Then MrM enjoyed a moving ANZAC service and you could tell the players were ready to enjoy this great day of football.
Wanneroo won the toss and elected to bat and saw off the opening bowlers early but couldn’t capitalise on a good start, 1.4 was kicked and then from their TA’s went down and kicked 5 straight. Second quarter was again Wanneroo, doing a bit, and TA’s taking their chances.
In the second half, well it was Wanneroo for early stages, but I am sure TA’s kicked the next 14 goals in 40 minutes of football.

It was a good day for Trinity Aquinas and their Colts boys certainly enjoyed the fact their League and Reserves had good wins and were letting some Wanneroo crowd and players know and apparently the canteen ran out of pies as they were making the mention to some players. Good to see they were up and about despite losing on the day and especially after graduating school without a decent showing in the Alcock Cup whilst they were at school...yes that’s right, MrM follows all football closely. They were good though 5/10 for effort...

Already looking forward to next week.
