A big reality check for the new kids on the block as the A grade powerhouses flexed their muscles.

While it may be early in the year, the cream is already rising to the top with some big wins to the benchmark teams.

Fremantle C.B.C defeated Kalamunda 65 points
North Beach defeated Kingsway 51 points
Scarborough defeated Wanneroo 41 points

While the win to University was not a surprise, as they are a quality side, the margin certainly was.
Maybe Big Al can shed some light on this result.

Wanneroo rolled into their first game away from home with confidence but that didn't last long. Scarborough kicked 6 goals to zip in the first half. Concentration lapses and a lack of intensity cost Wanneroo early.
To their credit they came out with a different attitude in the 2nd half and showed patches of good footy but the damage was well and truly done though. It was only going to be a question of the margin.

Alright alright, Frank is back after a long lay off season full of fun and shenanigans. Ive been a bit busy sorry folks, just got me self a new job at Chicken treat as well as getting over the celebrations from another winless season for the "F" troop in cricket.

Been an interesting start in A grade this season with results being quiet unpredictable. I was at the Scabs roos game on the weekend, and the cheque book really showed. Wanneroo tried to play at the same speed and tempo as Scabs but really got burnt. A good 2nd half should give them hope maybe next time around.

As for the other grades, kingsway competitive for a quarter, TA's copping a pumping from the boys in the GT, Wembley getting a really important win over Curtin and CBC doing the business against the Cougars. Another big round coming this week and cant wait to hear from Boothead and how he thinks his teal roos will go.

Make sure you bring your rain jackets this weekend, shes gonna get moist.
