Any know wtf is going on with colts comps across the league?

looks a sad state of affairs for the colts this year OS

through lack of players seems a number of comps wont go ahead this year

And sadly for clubs that do have the numbers they will be split from their league and reserves every weekend to get a game.

No offence, but I think South4theflag is getting his wires crossed here...

WAFC's decision to take over the Talent Pathway (ie. manage WAFL Colts teams) is completely separate to this issue, which given OS posted it in the WAAFL forum I take to be a query about the fact only 2 x Colts comps are currently listed on the WAAFL fixtures.

There is no doubt the transition from Youth to Senior football is still a massive issue keeping our Clubs awake at night, with declining youth numbers over the past 5 or so years squeezing clubs further along the line.

My understanding is that there are still another ~30 Colts teams nominated who need to have fixtures finalised (ie. ~50 in total, on top of the 20 already fixtured in Phil Scott and Drew Banfield grades). The reason those ones take a bit longer is due to some late withdrawals the high C Grades and knock-on effect from there, the fixtures still need to be finalised for C3, C4 and the Colts comps which are linked to C Grade clubs.
