Well the season has finally come!!! nice sunny weather all week, then predicted rain on saturday, should make it even more interesting!

Ill have a crack at some tips, if you are keen to join in, do the same below. I will be away for a few weeks though so some one will have to step in!

New grade for me, so dont know much about any of the teams, feel free to give us a back ground!

T/A's Vs Swan View
T/A's are their thirds and 4ths i guess? will be tough against any 1st team, Swan view up from the one team comp and all talks are they will be premiership favourites. Ill take swan view

Cockburn Cobra's Vs Roleystone
Dont know anything about either team, so guessing blind Ill take roleystone

Wembley Vs Osborne Park
Again little info, but I assume Wembley are playing 3rds and 4ths, so will take osborne Park

Secret Harbour Vs Jandakot
Jandakot been around a couple years now and should have some of their earlier colts flowing through, know nothing about secret harbour, didnt even know they existed, looking forward to the bus ride to north albany later in the year though. Ill take Jandakot

Southern River Vs Brentwood
Think Southern River made finals last year, Brentwood coming down another grade. Will be interesting playing against the old coach. Will take Brentwood

TA's vs Swan View- Will be interesting to see how a 3rds and 4ths side go in this comp after Bull Creek were in that situation in this grade last year and didnt make the 5. TA's obviously would have better depth having A grade. Last year the 3rds went through the year undefeated and the 4ths won 10 games. Swan View are back in the C4 comp after being in C1 2 seasons ago. They won the flag in E grade last year and their colts have been strong for the past 2 years. With a few players returning their depth should be boosted and you'd think they would be contenders. Ressies had been there down fall previous to going to the one team comp. if they have good numbers and are competitive expect the league to be strong!

Cockburn vs Roleystone- I know the southern corridor is overflowing with population but you wouldn't think Cockburn would have 2 dominant sides in the same suburb with Cockburn Lakes in C3 and the Cobras in C4. Interesting to see how that works. Roleystone would be looking to improve on recent seasons and they've picked up some handy players. A few have come over from Pickering Brook in the hills comp and time will tell if they can compete in a tougher comp. With those additions I'm expecting Roly to be improves this year and start the season off on a good note. Roly by 4 goals. Draw in the ressies

Wembley vs Osborne Park- another 3rds and 4th side in the comp who performed very well last year. I wouldn't expect them to be as good as TA's. Osborne Park apparently had a lot of fifo last year which affected performance from week to week. At their best were a team that was very good and tough to beat. If they have their best side in 1st up I'd expect them to win. The Park by 3 goals. Ressies The Park by 5 goals

Secret Harbour vs Jandakot- big day for Secret Harbour stepping into a new comp which is much tougher than the mercantile rabble. Teams that make the step and or are new to the ammo ranks generally come in with a bang due to plenty of enthusiam.Canning Vale the latest to do so. Jandakot need to improve on recent times and I think they will. Great to see that both sides have a colts. Secret Harbour by a goal in league,ressies and colts

Souther River vs Brentwood- I think this could be the flogging of the round. Souther River middle if the road last year and Brentwood coming down with reports of big numbers and a colts side. That should provide plenty of depth and IMO Brentwood should be a contender also. Brentwood by 10 goals. Ressies-Brentwood by 5 goals

Interested to see how it all pans out this year with Baysie and Beechboro now no longer in C4. Will be a tough season ahead with the new inclusions as well.
