It all most sent the club to the 'Wall'..our coach is also the colts coach, his son is the reserves coach.
Both were gonna get fees according to ammo guide lines..both did not and will not ask for such.
The club has been financially devestated.
It is all about 'survival' at this stage!

I'm not having a crack stinker , I hate to see a club doing it tough at the best of times, except if your freo Dockers, they deserve it.

U need to reconsider your approach, first u tell us it's "probability" that caused it. Many of us are aware of the circumstances and it's not just probability but involves stat Dec's etc as u have said.
Your club is also covered by a very comprehensive insurance policy that is provided by JLT insurance that covers off on fraud etc. The administrators of the cobra's are very aware of this yet have chosen not to pursue the matter, this would cost the cobra's nothing and losses suffered would actually put the club in front.

As a sponsor i was not aware of JLT insurance/involvement and not sure the club is fully aware.

As a club i know they have had their share of detractors because of assumed guilt.

They are fighting the false "smear" as best they can with limited resources.

It was the sponsorship group that arranged the video knowing full well the integrity of the personnel involved.

Any truth to the rumours the clubs copped yet another fine for mismanagement?

Cowboy im involved with the club I have asked a few guys since seeing your post however no one seems to know any thing about it.

Stinker I heard the league played prior to the reserves against Waneroo. Players who played league had to back up and play reserves due to player numbers. The apparent fine came about because the WAAFL by-laws state you can’t play a higher grade then a lower grade on the same weekend.

Hi Cowboy, the ressies did play after the league against Wanneroo which the Cobras agreed too in good faith to suit the request of home side and WAAFL.

Therefor it was dissappointing to hear a Wanneroo official had ph'd the WAAFL while the game was underway to complain that quite a lot of players that played in the first game were playing in the second, there was no attemp to hide that fact as that has been the situation all year.

This was because of a "unjust" finding against the club ...resulting in the club losing some top end talent while the majority have stayed but as there is no purpose to the season play only when available depending on work/family comittements.
This has resulted in numerous players backing up when needed. In hindsight the only mistake the Cobras made was to agree to Wanneroos request. Had things been the normal the ressies would probably not have lost due to fatigue of players playing two games!

Regardless NO FINE or loss of score
was issued and i would invite anyone to check our team sheets. (Avaliable WAAFL App) On Sat the club had a moral boosting win against Coolbellup with 12 players backing up. 6 ressies and 6 colts, the day against Wanneroo the club had several colts playing 3 games.

Gee regardless of the request that’s a bad miss on the rules! Glad to hear the club didn’t cop another fine as a result, but bit rough to have a crack at Wanneroo.

The Cobras are doing it tough in 2018 and are fighting hard to get through the season.

The club is in this position because the 'so called custodians,' of this great game at the community level
have let grass roots footy and our club down!
