Well the end is not near, it's here!! For half the sides this is the last week of footy but which 5 isn't decided yet.

52 pts 139.66% Snesa
50 pts 123.29% Dianella
48 pts 119.36% Mosman
44 pts 117.89% Ellenbrook
32 pts 84.14% Piara
28 pts 98.93% CWP
26 pts 94.05%Cottesloe
24 pts 93.71% Belmont
20 pts 68.09 % Brentwood
16 pts 82.03% Manning

Forecast:
Rest of Thursday - light shower or 2
Friday - High chance of showers
Saturday - 95% chance of showers, mostly in the morning. Chance of a thunderstorm, 13-19.

Looks like heavy grounds and slippery footy's.

Cottesloe (7th) v Manning (10th)
Manning 11.9-75 lost to Cottesloe 14.8-92
This is the last game for both sides so expect them to go out with a bang. Manning know that a win could keep them in C3 while for the Roosters it's a bit of a nothing game with the exception of it being at home. As much as a win would mean to the Rippers I think Cottesloe will win here.

Dianella (2nd) v Coolbinia (6th)
CWP 10.6-66 lost to Dianella 20.11-131
Dianella have guaranteed themselves a top 3 spot with the double chance and can still take top spot if Snesa stumble at the final hurdle. CWP are still gunning for 5th spot and will throw the kitchen sink at the Raiders to get it. I think it may be too little too late for the Falcons and Dianella will win.

Piara (5th) v Mosman (3rd)
Mosman 22.11-143 defeated Piara 10.14-74
Match of the Round. Piara win here and 5th is certain, lose and they'll be checking others results post game to see if their season continues. After a mid season lull they've done enough to be around the mark at the pointy end so anything could happen here - they may have Maddington down watching since their season is over thanks to the Kelmscott forfeit. Mossie Park are in the box seat to finish in the 3 and have the help to make sure they do. They are used to playing on a small oval so shouldn't have any issues there. Mosman Park to win.

Snesa (1st) v Belmont (8th)
Belmont 14.15-99 defeated Snesa 7.2-44
The Bombers are the only team that Snesa hasn't beaten yet this year and they'll plan on bowing out with a win. Snesa just need to win to claim the minor premiership and the bye in the first week of finals. This should be a cracker but I'll have to pick the Saints

Brentwood (9th) v Ellenbrook (4th)
Ellenbrook 17.6-108 defeated Brentwood 9.2-56
The bulldogs final game at the year and they'll want to put up a big performance for the home crowd. The Eels need results to go their way to finish 3rd but will try to keep their end of the bargain with a win here. Ellenbrook to win.

Great time of year with lots of jostling for positions still up for grab.

I reckon CWP are a sneaky chance of a win after some great recent performances and DM certainly havent been the 'unbeatables' they looked like mid season. All on the line will be great to watch.

Also reckon Manning are a chance against Cott, with Cott still in finals contention for reserves, may drop a few back (I would anyway) which puts Brentwood in a precarious position with a poor % and a chance of dropping to 10th if Manning get up and the dogs cant hold off Ellenbrook.

Piara picking up some form could do MP over unless Dougy wants a notable send off. I played 1s against MP earlier in the year at Karoonda and MP were terrible but must have been an off game as they've been up the top end most of the year. I'll pick MP to win in a close one.

Got to watch Snesa demolish Brentwood last week amongst the ladies day crowd. They were amazing to watch, clearly the best side we have played this year and in serious form. Little tattooed fwd snagged 11 after we tried all 22 players on him I reckon, had a day out. SNESA are a super organised side for this grade which will hold up in finals well, they'll take care of Belmont and the flag in a few weeks.

I was confident of a good performance for the dogs last week and they got wiped off the park so I'll be more conservative against the Eels who could take top 3 if MP falter. Hoping for a good game at least and we'll be a lot better.

Have to second Tip, played the league game and old mate Doug was in fine form again. Down by 5 goals at the half, the mossies needed a spark and boy did they get one. Amonst the usual first half bs (cards, 50s, free kicks) Somehow doug found 4 outrageous free kicks in the space of 8 or so minutes inside their forward 50 (3 of which to their superstar goalkicker (very good player but was getting well and truely beaten today) which resulted in a mini fightback. Stoked to get the end result and fight another week, but just after half time it was the first time in 8 years of playing football i thought to myself, this isnt even enjoyable being out here. Hoping for the sake of the comp something gets sorted in the off season

Piara with a big win over Mosman park sets up a rematch next week in the elimination final while Manning ended up with the wooden spoon - whether they get relegated or stay in C3 depends on what happens with the higher grades with Kelmscott and the Piara/Maddington merger.

Cottesloe 13.12-90 defeated Manning 7.4-46
Dianella 13.16-94 defeated CWP 11.11-77
Brentwood 8.4-52 lost to Ellenbrook 8.9-57
Piara 14.17-101 defeated Mosman 10.11-71
Snesa 11.8-74 defeated Belmont 4.8-32

C3 Reserves
Cottesloe 16.12-108 defeated Manning 4.3-27
Dianella 6.11-47 defeated CWP 4.7-31
Brentwood 8.6-54 lost Ellenbrook 9.5-59
Piara 8.4-52 lost to Mosman 8.7-55
Snesa 13.7-85 defeated Belmont 4.5-29

Minor premiers

Is it possible they'll move the Piara vs Mosman matches around to have all teams play at the same ground? I know the league has done something similar in the past.

So, it would look something like:
Qualifying Finals @ Dianella Open Space
League - 2. Dianella v 3. Ellenbrook
Reserves - 4. Brentwood v 5. Cottesloe

Elimination Finals @ Tom Perrott Reserve
League - 4. Mosman v 5. Piara
Reserves - 2. Piara v 3. Mosman
