Boy oh boy oh boy, could that round have gone any better? My lord has this season ended with a bang. The only upset people around here will be the boys from the GT as they will be spewing that Swan ath didnt get the choccies at home and make that last game of the season an absolute doozy.

Kingsway thumping the Pies has made everyone think, were they resting players? Did they not rate the teal roos? Are they a bunch of front runners? Looking at the scores they were lucky it wasnt a 100 point flogging. Kingsway have the week off in the palm of there hands and at home will be confident.

Mt Lawley surprising another favourite away from home killed off one team but opened up the 5 beautifully. I have to ask myself will they run out of gas? Will they resy some players this week thinking Collies will be an easy win? Can they possibly win it all from 5th? One thing is for sure they are a real deal and as for the ath they need to bounce back in a real tough game which could see them playing the hawks again in 2 weeks. Wowzers

Collegians would have dropped to there knees seeing the score from that game. Built the percentage up just to be brought right back down. Will need to get some players back for next season as there depth was a serious issue probably resulting in why they missed. Piara bulls need to do alot of things to try and survive next year but its always about surviving once you come up and they did that.

Wanneroo shrug past a helpless hamersley and keep there top 3 aspirations alive. The roos have built nicely since the mid point of the season and seeing the weekends results may have given them some confidence. One thing is for sure that a night game and all the results known it will be a huge game under lights. Ive been down to the showgrounds a couple of times over the years and can only imagine the crowd they would be expecting.

I just want the weekend to come around, its gonna be unbelievable we just gotta hope the rain stays away. Frank out

Up and About - Apologies have been off the air for a few days

Yes i ventured to Gil Fraser on Saturday and witnessed a pretty clinical display by Kingsway against a NF side that looks a shadow of the side that totally dominated the 1st 2/3rds of this season. Perhaps NF were missing a few (i think most sides are this time of year) but apart from kicking the 1st goal, NF were totally outclassed by a well drilled Kingsway side for most of the day

Sets us up for an enthralling final round with the top 4 playing each other with the results having a massive bearing on where sides finish. As i see it:

Kingsway will finish either 1st or 2nd
NF can finish as high as top or as low as 3rd
Swan Ath will finish either 2nd or 3rd
Wanneroo will finish either 3rd or 4th
Mt Lawley will finish either 4th or 5th

With home ground advantage up for grabs for all sides, expect a hard tough final round of footy. I suppose the only twist is that both NF & Wanneroo will know what's at stake when they kick off at 5.30 Sat Evening as all other games would have finished by then

So plenty to play for this weekend in what looks like being a pretty ordinary day for it weather wise . I look forward to the respective previews over the next few days
