Both teams had big wins on the weekend and now find themselves in the battle for 5th. A win to Piara and they could be 6-8 points clear in 5th with 2 games to go. They knocked Belmont's aspiration's around last week and will attempt to do the same to CWP this week. Coolbinia were too good for the Eels and have now given themselves every chance of playing finals. If they keep knocking off teams above them they will. CWP to win.

Dianella (3rd) v Manning (10th)
Manning 8.15-63 lost to Dianella 16.11-107
The Raiders dropped from top spot on the back of Snesa's tight defence but will feel more comfortable in a shootout against Manning. The Rippers only just went done to Doug's mob so should take a fair bit of confidence out of that. I think Dianella will win here.

Belmont (8th) v Brentwood (9th)
Brentwood 12.11-83 defeated Belmont 8.14-62
Brentwood will be up an about after knocking off the Roosters - they are still in the relegation zone but have played some very good footy so far this season. Belmont got rolled by 6 goals out at Piara and halted the impressive momentum they had built. An outside chance at a finals spot is still on offer here but equally importantly the winner will be staying in C3 next year. I think the Bombers will win.

Mosman (1st) v Snesa (2nd)
Snesa 10.10-76 defeated 10.8-68
Match of the round - hopefully it lives up to the expectation since there will be a WAAFL official down watching. Mozzie only just got over Manning while the Saints were impressive in beating top side Dianella. Should be a cracker, I'll tip Snesa to win this top of the table clash.

Ellenbrook (4th) v Cottesloe (7th)
Cottesloe 10.6-66 lost to Ellenbrook 17.11-113
If the Roosters want to play finals they need to win here - they have had a mid season slump but no doubt will be focused on hunting a finals spot. Ellenbrook suffered a big loss and will be looking to bounce back this week. Ellenbrook at home.

If a WAAFL official is down watching the mossie snesa game then the mossie ump might just put in an ok game, as he has idone in the past when being watched. But don't you worry mossie, when the official leaves you'll have your old faithful ump again next wknd. If the game is called evenly I'm interested to see the result this wknd

Interesting to see the snesa mossie score, with a fair umpiring game. True colours will show. And Belmont looking like they could've used the goals and points reversed for some percentage boost. Not to be though. Interesting last couple of weeks

I think that's the first time I've tipped 5 all season.... a big win for Snesa puts them on top of the ladder half a game ahead of Dianella while Mosman slip to 4th on the back of that result. CWP the big movers taking 5th spot while Cottesloe have dropped to 8th. It's a big 2 round to finish the home and away season and it's still wide open.

Any thoughts or run downs from anyone who was at any of the games?

Really impressed by SNESA, as they have beaten Dm & Mp back 2 back. SNESA are no joke and there game plan they stick to is key to a premiership.

The game plan isint so masterful or clever but its the fact that a bunch of c3 blokes are very disipline and actually stuck to the game plan throughout the whole game. Not like most clubs where they tend to do a plan for 5 min and eventually just become a free for all. If that makes cents.

By Dm boys are doing ok even tho the last month has been iffy, they tend to rely on 2-3 players to win games and sometimes they light up and can but when they are not up and about the rest of the team hide into a shell.
