With any of the bottom five having a chance to be relegated or make finals, this week could really help decide the top 5. Good luck to all
5 Willetton V 1 Kingsley
Willetton really need to win this one to keep a hold on finals spot, but I think Kingsley will be too good and win by 4 goals
9 Carlisle V 7 Bullcreek Leeming
I think Carlisle can do some damage to the sides looking to make the five, but Bullcreek will want it more. Bullcreek by 10 points
2 Ballajura V 10 Melville
Nobody tipped Melville to be fighting to stay out of relegation for the second year in a row, and I don’t think this week will help them. Balla by 4 goals
4 Noranda V 6 Quinns District
This rematch could be MOTR with Quinns needing to win to keep their finals hopes alive where Noranda’s form is on the slide with injuries and overseas trips really testing there depth. I still think Noranda in a close one
3 Thornlie V 8 Kenwick
Although Kenwick are showing some form, I think Thornlie are doing what they need to get the job done. Thornlie by by 5 goals

With stacks on the line and with the up and down of the season I think this weekend can bring some surprises

willo to knock of Kingsley in a tight one, their season is in the balance and seem to play better footy at home

Carlisle to knock of bullcreek at home as their small ground is extremely difficult to play on

Balla to pump Melville 80+

Quinn's to have an easy win out at noranda by 40+ to keep finals race alive

Thornlie to win a tight one against kenwick who are my dark horse Ronald the finals

Big upset yesterday with Melville easily disposing of Ballajura who actually had five more scoring shots than the Rams. Poor kicking for goal seems to be a theme with Balla this season.

Big relegation battle at the bottom of the table with any team from Bullcreek-Leeming, Carlisle or Kenwick in the zone to go down.

Looking at the draw in the last three rounds my tip is Kenwick to go down with Melville. The round 17 match up between Carlisle and Kenwick is shaping up to be the decider for both clubs if they want to stay in C1.

Melville is even a sneaky chance to avoid relegation but given they are playing Kingsley in R18 this will snuff out that possibility unless they can cause a big upset!

some big results over the weekend Carlisle and Melville both getting the win to make the relegation battle even more interesting. and Quinn's knocking off a seemingly flagging Noranda(1-5 from last 6 games) to jump into the 5 and only 1/2 a game shy of 4th

also another thought with Kelmscott likely going down to E grade would that mean only one of our teams would be relegated to keep the grade at 10 teams?

I would say it's more likely that only 1 team will be relegated from B Grade to C1 (as well as Kelmscott going likely to E1, if anywhere at all) and the usual 2 up, 2 down from C1 and below.

if all grades maintain the 2 up 2 down that would leave C1 with 9 teams should Kelmscott go to 1 team.
it would ripple all the way down but to me if it happens C1, C2 & C3 do 2 up 1 down so C4 becomes the grade with 9 teams unless a new team joins or gets a second team.

there is a precedent for not relegating to keep team numbers. in C3 2014 a team folded mid season then at season end East Fremantle went to 1 team so Manning who finished 9th wasn't relegated.

Clarkson is on the money ... it's nothing new and happened last year.

C4 is always the grade that "suffers" so to speak. 2 up and 2 down until you get to C3/4 where only 1 went down last year.
