Firstly let MrM send his heartfelt condolences to the Collegians family as they lost a teammate and brother this past week, thoughts are with you gents in this time.
Thanks for starting boothead, you seem like a good gent and/or female (rude of MrM to gender specify), kudos to you.
It’s going to be another Round of some good fixtures, with plenty still left to play for with even the relegation battle heating up. MrM is looking forward to these remaining few rounds even though MrM may be jetting back to the great land of Georgetown in a few weeks, this time spent at home has let MrM rekindle his love for one thing...hot chips at football. Hot chips at a football match are what draw the crowd to attend; it’s not surprising to see more and more clubs getting on the hot chip bandwagon as they say, it’s as cheap as chips.
In other news it has been disappointing to see that despite MrM best efforts, he could not get anyone to comment on last weekend’s games, how dare MrM get 5/5 in the tipping, it’s just wrong. Come on all lets lift in the game reviews.
As for game previews I shall start now.
Wanneroo v Mt Lawley @Wanneroo Showgrounds MOTR
As boothead pointed out, definitely is this weekend’s Match Of The Round.
Wanneroo have managed to string together a few wins and are looking good in the back half of the season. The real test starts now though as they face 3 tough competitors in the next month of football. Mt Lawley are also a team on the march and with the “Brothers of Destruction” in action, anything can happen. It will be a tough slog at the showgrounds which will see a tightly contested game. I will be different here, in front of a vocal, parochial crowd, Wanneroo to win.

Collegians v Kelmscott @Dalkeith Oval
In a tough week for Collegians they get a good chance to play football here and get themselves a win as they can keep their slim finals hopes alive. Kelmscott, what happened to the side MrM saw play a few weeks ago, your last two efforts have been disappointing to say the least. I do not expect that to change here this weekend as Collegians will run rampant.

Swan Athletic v Stirling @Fawell Park
Swan Ath seemed very impressive last weekend as they steamrolled a hapless Kelmscott side. They will hoping to do so again this weekend as they face a side battling to avoid relegation. Stirling are struggling as they face the prospect of relegation, no colts, Reserves and League getting thumped does not bode well, but can they do enough to avoid relegation, they need wins, but it won’t be this weekend. SwanAth to kick some Ath...

North Fremantle v Maddington @Gil Fraser Oval
North Fremantle are flying and have a small mortgage on top spot on the ladder at the moment. If they keep winning like they have been then I expect them to remain like that till the season’s end, they face another side looking to avoid relegation this weekend. Maddington were good last weekend for a quarter but will need a lot better than that if they are to defeat North Fremantle, something I cannot see happening.

Hamersley Carine v Kingsway @Percy Doyle Reserve
Hamersley kissed their finals chances goodbye last weekend with a sub-par effort against Collegians. If results go against them, they could also be in danger of being relegated so they will need a good showing against a Kingsway side out for revenge last weekend. Kingsway would be kicking them after last weekend’s result and it could cost them. This is a real danger game for Kingsway here as they need a win or risk slipping down the ladder. I think they can get it done.

Good luck all, MrM will be out and about this weekend, who will see the great man, who knows.
