Another round in the books and once again this grade proves just how unpredictable it is. all the home teams managing to get some points with Quinns the only away team to come away with anything in the ones

At Mills Park our colts started the day of pretty well they were right in the game at 3qt time with only an 8 point margin. it all seemed to fall apart from there with Quinns kicking 5 goals to zip in the last quarter to run out comfortable 36 point victors.
In the twos one of the club stalwarts played his 300th senior game our lads put in a good effort but where well beaten on the day by a much better side. Was good to see the Quinns players clap him off as he was chaired from the field and he was pretty happy to tell us all later on that he had been bought a few beers by the away team as congratulation. That’s what footy is all about.
In the afternoon game Quinns got off to a flier kicking the first 6 goals to have a healthy lead at the first break. We managed to peg them back in the second then managed to finish the third quarter just in front, the last quarter was a tussle with both teams gaining a lead at points then us kicking a point in the last minute to level things up. Inaccuracy hurt us in the end but giving a team a 6 goal head start is always going to make things difficult.
The ladder in this grade is ridiculous if you just look at points not who is still to play who all teams can still play finals and 8 teams could still be relegated. with just 4 rounds to go
