Thought I'd try get the C4 train rolling again with the notable absence over the last few weeks. If early season form is anything to go by the boys from the Harbour are looking the goods and should be early favourites. They pulled us apart in all aspects when we played them are definitely shouldnt be taken lightly. Reminiscent of the Armadale side a few years ago.

Kwinana, Parkers and Cobras all seem to be going along comfortably and should be there at the pointy end of the season. From past seasons Cobras always seem to be there but stumble early, they look like the big improves this year with the introduction of their colts and depth in the club.

Personally believe that 5th spot is up for grabs by any of the remaining clubs and will be very tightly contested as the season goes on. Out of the rest of the team the biggest suprise or let down would be Armadale. Last C4 outing they were nearly untouchable going through the season and were hit hard in C3, lost alot of top quality league players and have had the rebuild through the 2's this year. Definately my tip to take that 5th spot, with a new league team and coach, they are still very much in the teething stage and are gelling better every week, notching there first win last week and playing the other 2 teams in the bottom 4 over the next few weeks but time will tell.

Interesting to see how Yanchep are progressing with the long road trips on away games, I know our boys arent too keen on the trip and either would the likes of kwinana or secret harbour. Looks like it may be another hard year for Bayswater and Cockburn Lakes both yet to register a win so far.

Good luck to the teams this week and hopefully we can get some chat going as C4 is always one of the most competitive comps

Good to see someone with some C4 news. I will try to keep it rolling. Haven't seen all the teams yet but have heard enough from the clubs we have played so far about the other teams to comment..
After 5 games Secret Harbour definately look the goods after coming up from E1 having won easily their first 5 games. They look a very strong well organised team with few weaknesses and are very well coached playing a great brand of run on footy and have been demolishing everyone so far. Cobras have improved a lot by the looks and have got a number of new recruits to the club which has improved their depth immensely. The addition of a colts side will also boost the club. They haven't played finals for a few years but look to be a major player this year. Kwinana are always thereabouts and have just lacked the finishing touches to take them further. They have plenty of fast outside run and carry and their pace and ball movement always will worry most teams. The Knights need a bit more constancy and their only loss so far was to Secret Harbour by 7 goals.
Ossy Park seem to have lost a few key players but are still a major contender. The Saints solid brand of football alway keeps them in contention and they are more than capable on their day to take it up to anyone and have come the closest this season to Secret Harbour. They will again be thereabouts. Rossmoyne are the big improvers so far this year with 3 wins. They have always had some big key position players and look to have recruited well to have them rise up the ladder. A 12 goal loss to Cobras shows that they still need to improve. Jandakot look to be the big sliders so far. They have plenty of depth through the grades with colts and an E3 team so can't be discounted yet . The Jets always play a good style of running footy throughout the grades and if they click they will worry all teams. Yanchep have done well so far coming up from E1 with 2 good wins and some competive games in the others . I haven't seen them yet so will comment further after playing them.
Armadale have come down from C3 and are looking like they will be in for a long season near the bottom of the ladder after some huge losses though they are a proud club who will be unhappy with their current position. Cockburn Lakes are another team to go backwards. They played a very disorganised style of footy last year that wasn't going to take them anywhere and look to still be playing the same brand of footy that will keep them near the bottom. They will cause a few surprises here and there through sheer grunt but lack of consistency will be their biggest problem. Bayswater coming up from E1 are not adapting as well as Secret Harbour and Yanchep have to the higher grade. They played a shocking brand of footy when they were in C4 2 years ago that wasn't going to win them a game and don't seem to have improved.

Cobras are the best team I have seen so far this season. They have improved significantly when compared to last season. Looking forward to seeing Secret Harbour play, great effort by them to come up and perform as well as they are.
