I saw a great game of footy at Bassendean on Saturday, a great effort from both sides. Bassendean threatened to blow the game out a couple of times but Valley hung in there and really threatened late in the game. A very entertaining game with some good skills on display.

Gosnells and Warnbro continued their unbeaten runs whilst Canning Vale broke their duck. Ridge predictably gave High Wycombe a touch up. Some big games coming up in round five with the battle of the two swans the pick of the bunch. More on that later in the week.

I travelled up to high Wycombe where the people are just a little bit different to ya normal folk , I caught the second half of the ressies which was a blood bath ! Ocean ridge smashed high Wycombe the only yelp they gave was cheap shots on young kids behind the play or when they got rid of the footy bunch of filthy pricks
Onto the league game was all one sided , ridges skills were on and they sliced and diced the Wycombe lads to shreds , the Wycombe crowd were a bunch of ferals , one of the ridge lads went down injured late in the Second quarter then was bombarded with abuse from the sidelines !! calling him a week c&$# and to stop sooking and then giving it to him as he got carried off past the grand stand they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves turns out the ridge guy has a broken ankle !! I really hope Wycombe get pumped every single game and go down to c3 or even fold for all I care , poor excuse of a club

Thats a fucking disgrace chirping on an injured player. Should clap him off.
THey will suit C3, I saw Belmont players and fans do the same thing a few weeks ago.

Delighted to see them struggling , I see things also have not changed. Familiar incident our lad had a broken arm , then a reserve player got punched for telling them to settle down.

Funny how there is always 2 sides to a story and the majority jump on one without hearing there other. I to was at the ridge v Wycombe game as I moved to the area. It takes 2 to tango and Ridge for all their dominance gave as much lateness you could call it as the got. I feel both umps lost control of the game early as 1 didn't blow the whistle and the other was inconsistent with his. 2 soft 50 against the dogs from one umpire didn't help. Wycombe were never in the game but seemed to keep going anyway and didn't seem to give up. Ridge are a good side as results show over the last 3 years. As for the injury that occurred in the league game I'm not sure what grand stand you were in as it was pretty quiet there at the time. I've heard worse comments at other grounds have you been to Swan Valley Ellenbrook even Quinns. Shit from clubs all around the league. So don't start throwing stones as even Ocean Ridge give a fair bit of shit from there bar area and around the ground

I wonder what will come of the Nollamara Player who was red carded in the last few minutes of the league game against Warnbro Swans. He threatened to strike the Nollamara Umpire twice, who had just reversed a free kick against Nollamara. The Umpire had to sway back on both times because the player had his arm and fist back as if he was going to punch him.....

Sounds like a holiday there for sure, anyone tell us the outcome?

haha nolla in the news again. Disgusting to hear about the way doggies crowd behaved but nothing compares (IMO) to the nolla boys. A bloke from nolla got red carded two weeks ago for a king hit behind play and it sounds like the others are picking up where he left off, going after your own umpire (or any umpire) is a disgrace. By far the most ill disciplined team I have ever had the misfortune of seeing.

I wonder if anyone else share my views or do you disagree? personally, I've never had a positive encounter with that team.

Not sure if it's the same umpire who was hit by a support after one of their earlier games this year. The umpire that day said it was his first and last day of umpiring them, he also mention he took over from someone else who quit after abuse and threats from round 1.

Played them twice last year in C3 and they were rough and had some late and high hits but we gave it back to them and it just ended up being a physical game and nothing to report of note. They were winning in both those games though. I have seen them take it over the top if the opposition is belting them.
