It looks a very good round of fixtures this week, I'm tipping some tight games that will begin to shape the finals, even at this early stage of the season.
Canning Vale vs Canning South Perth
A chance for the Cougars to break their duck here but it won't be easy, the Tigers Have been competitive after a bad first game. I'll tip the Cougars at home in a close one.
Nollamara vs Warnbro Swans
The Roos are a good side when they maintain discipline, they showed that last week at The Valley, poor first quarter with a red card but then played very well. Hard to pick against a side that hasn't lost yet though so I'll go the Swans in a close one, they're used to a big ground and Des Penman will suit..
Gosnells vs Lynwood Ferndale
1 v 3 and both undefeated, it should be a good game! My old mob the Hawks are the early favourites for the flag and I'll back them in at home.
Bassendean vs Swan Valley
Valley missed a golden opportunity for both grand final revenge and to put space between them and the chasing pack last week. They will be tested by a Bassendean side that is always tough to beat at home and will be looking to improve. Whilst they have only lost one their percentage is high, so they are probably better than the ladder suggests. Valley at their best can win, they just need to play four quarters of good footy.
High Wycombe vs Ocean Ridge
It's shaping to be a long season for the Bulldogs and Ridge can take their turn at the percentage trough on Saturday. Ridge by plenty.
