Lynwood Ferndale 11.10-76 def Bassendean 9.7-61

Lynwood got up over Bassendean in a bit of a surprise for those outside the club. They go head to head with one of the other undefeated sides in Gosnells this week in what should be a top game. Bassendean host Valley with both sides keen to rebound from surprise losses.

Ocean Ridge 7.9-51 def by Gosnells 13.12-90

The Hawks in a comfortable win, Ridge travel to High Wycombe and should get up over the bottom side.

Swan Valley 12.10-82 def by Nollamara 14.8-92

Valley let Nollamara back in the game with a poor second quarter and paid the price. Once the Roos got their tails up they were hard to stop. Valley never gave up and almost snatched victory but Nollamara steadied for a solid win. It was an entertaining game of footy to watch with some great skills on display. Nolla host the undefeated Warnbro next week.

Warnbro Swans 14.11-95 def Canning Vale 9.10-64

The Swans comfortable winners at home over a Cougars outfit that needs to break their duck in a hurry if they want to stay in finals contention. They host CVSP this week and will be desperate to do just that.

Canning South Perth 11.15-81 def High Wycombe 4.5-29

The Tigers at home comfortably over a High Wycombe side that seems doomed for relegation. They do have some good kids in the Colts so there is something to look forward to if they can keep them on the park.

I didn't catch the Lynwood basso game footy god but I was at the gosnells v ridge game !!
Gosnells looked very slick with ball in hand with some really good outside players who deliver the footy well into there fowards , they also have a midget in the middle who gets plenty of the footy very quick and hard to tackle with good skills !! Ridge looked good at times but costly skill errors cost them dearly . Was a good game to watch with ball going from one end to the other pretty quickly look foward to seeing how both teams are travelling after ten rounds !! Gosnells the team to beat

It was a good game down at Lynwood with both sides playing some tough contested footy which was great to watch. The boys at Lynwood would have been 3 goals up at qtr time if they had kicked a bit straighter. Basso kept coming in the next 3 qtrs and I even think they hit the lead in the 3rd but Lynwood seemed to pressure basso create turnovers, showing composure and controlling the ball to grab the lead back and hang on for the win. All in all it was a quality game with some good skills on display.

Gozzy Lynwood game this week should be a cracker I think that gozzy is the team to beat in my opinion so far this year looking at the results, but still a long way to go. It will be interesting to see the result on Saturday night
