Round 2 saw all games bar one down to a few points the difference, which really shows the evenness of the competition. With the mid-season bye just passed (lol) we can get on with the rest of the season without interruption.

Lightning Park
Noranda 6. 7 - 43
defeated by
Kingsley 17. 9 - 111
Noranda with some work to do after another heavy loss and Kingsley bouncing back from their first round loss to get a notch on the board.

Kingfisher Oval
Ballajura 11. 12 - 78
defeated
Thornlie 10. 9 - 69
Last years C2 premiership re-match was no doubt fiery, with scores being tied at 3/4 time Ballajura took it home with the breeze.

Carlisle Reserve
Carlisle 9. 5 - 59
drew
Willetton 9. 5 - 59
Couldn't of had a more even scoreline, Carlisle with a bit more fight than round 1 to create the first draw so early in the season. Willetton still undefeated.

Beasley Park
Bullcreek Leeming 9. 9 - 63
defeated
Kenwick 8. 10 - 58
Bullcreek going 2 and zip sitting on top of the table with Ballajura

Melville Reserve
Melville 9. 10 - 64
defeated
Quinns District 9. 9 - 63
Melville with a few of their best man back in the team took it out in a close one against Owen Two, Quinns

Morning All some close games in C1 this week
The game down at Melville Reserve went down to the wire
As they always do when these two teams play.
Rams snuck in by 1pt.
Up on balcony the contest was just as close with the
Supporters exchanging Banter and enjoying frothies all day.
It was good to see the Postman and his Merrymen&Women
To all the Quinns Players,Coaches&Supporters 5 votes on
Supporting Amatuer Football all day.And the league boys
For coming up for a frothie or two after the game.
See you up at the Bull Ring.

Looks like it was a great weekend of footy in C1.Down at the fishbowl Balla got up on a real close one to give Thornlie there first fixtures loss in over 2 years. Thornlie are still so well structured and coached that the loss will probably make them stronger. Great supporter base from both clubs all day with Thornlie Colts getting up in the last kick of the game also. It's great to have footy back.

Cracker of a game at Melville. An even contest all day. Unlike the balcony where the Golden Fleece dominated. BOG without a shadow of a doubt and one wonders how the young Colt who was attached to him last night has pulled up!
A great day, many laughs and friendly sledging that was taken in good spirit as it always is down at Stock Rd. You're a good host Golden and an even better bloke and cheers to the Melville crew who always make us feel welcome up on that balcony. It's what community footy is about. Beers and a chin wag.

Jeezus, bit sickly with all the Kumbaya.

What next?

Bugger the football and just have a hippie flower power love in by all the amateur players?

As we don't have a San Francisco Haight-Ashbury it could be held at Heytesbury Street, Subiaco.
