Ballajura v Thornlie
C2 Grand Final Rematch
Hard to gauge of the first game how the teams will fair up but the Thornlie v Carlisle game Carlisle did seem very flat and were exposed heavily with quick ball movement from Thornlie but Ballajura too do play a fast ball movement brand of footy from what was seen last season not having an overly tall side. Ballajura taking it to the former B-grade side and toppling them over away from home was a great effort and I really think with that shown they can be very competitive this season. Hopefully a great little rivalry between the two clubs can form and all the best. Ballajura I think will take this one with the home ground advantage.
Ballajura by 1 goal.

Bullcreek Leeming v Kenwick
Kenwick taking out a depleted Melville team last round, allegedly the result of a poorly timed wedding from one of the lads at the Rams... surely a fine. Bullcreek on the back of a win also against Kingsley who are always relatively competitive. This will be an interesting one, for me Kenwick as the big improvers for 2017.
Kenwick by 3 goals.

Carlisle v Willeton
Willeton for me, Carlisle look flat and from their first round game may struggle this season
Willeton by 6 goals

Melville v Quinns District
Both teams coming down from B-Grade and coming back from a loss. Melville with the home ground advantage and the receptions celebrations drawing a close should see them in better force than their first game.
Melville by 3 goals.

Noranda v Kingsley
Noranda I think will struggle this year but coming up against Kingsley who fell short against Willeton would see them a chance to gain some confidence. Kingsley to take it out at Lightning Park in the last quarter.
4 goals to Kinglsey

Carlisle were a little flat against Thornlie in Game 1 but were missing a large portion of their league team due to a wedding. Hopefully with these players back they can bounce back and earn a hard fought victory.

Tips are:
Ballajura
Kenwick
Carlisle
Melville
Kingsley

Is anyone keeping score for the tips?

Ripping round and after a taste of it we might get more of a read of things this week.

Ballajura vs Thornlie - MOTR
Thornlie just don't lose often but I'm gonna tip Balla at home with a little extra bite after losing the big one last year.
Balla by 11 points

Bullcreek vs Kenwick
Some say Kenwick got lucky with a depleted Melville last week but they can only beat who is out there. Bullcreek winning against a highly rated Kingsley and I think the creek will have a lot to say with things this year.
Bullcreek Leeming by 5 goals

Carlisle Vs Willeton
Maybe the hardest to call, with Carlisle consistently putting up a fight and a strong core group for years. Willeton coming off a solid win over Noranda who I see as a potential struggler this season
Carlisle at home in a close one 2 goals

Melville Vs Quinns
Some would say match of the round but being relegated last season doesn't earn you that. A lot of chat about the big changes off season at both these clubs. Quinns being raided player / coach wise by an aggressive Ocean Ridge, has this impacted them much? Usually good depth up north. Melville changing their coach and fork the transfers list have really consolidated their list. Will they really have 10 changes as some mentioned on other threads?
Rams at home by 3 goals

Noranda Vs Kingsley
Have to agree with Footy Lad here, looks like a few. Noranda players headed back to Mount Lawley. But never underestimate this club being able to recruit mid season. It led them to a flag a couple years back. Kingsley here off the back of good get coaching wise and a good showing in round 1 against Bullcreek
Kingsley by 5 goals

Good luck to all, play the game in the right spirit. Would love some match reports, I'll be in Melbourne watching some AFL this weekend.

My source said there are nine inclusions this week for Melville and there are no weddings planned for the foreseeable future LOL
