Having umpired and played at most clubs over the 25 years I thought it would interesting to make a list of the top 10 clubs facillites. Makes no surprise that ex Sunday League clubs feature prominately.

1. Gosnells
Easily the best facillities in the league. Great atmosphere with a fantastic grandstand and great viewing from a well positioned bar and seating area . Fully fenced with seats all around the oval and a huge scoreboard and cars able to park right around the oval giving a true football atmosphere.

2. Kenwick.
Great viewing area with the huge 3 roomed bar and beer garden bar very close to the action. Plenty of room inside the bar to watch the game behind windows on cold days and good under cover seats . Fully fenced oval perimeter with seats all around and also fully fenced on the outside. Cars able to park right around the oval with gives a great football atmosphere. Also a massive scoreboard.

3. Kelmscott
Massive upstairs bar area that gives plenty of room behind the windows to watch the game right on top of the action. Fully enclosed fence around the oval and perimeter. Cars able to park all around the oval and grassed hills all around the oval. Seating also all around the oval. Massive scoreboard and outer bar area if needed. Had 8,000 people there for a WAFL game comfortably years ago.

4. Thorn lie
Great bar and and undercover viewing area very close to the action . Fully enclosed and fenced oval and perimeter with a fantastic scoreboard. Cars able to park all the way around the oval. Great football atmosphere. One of the few clubs in the WAAFL still open 7 days a week.

5. Kingsway.
Massive 2 roomed upstairs bar that is right on top of the action. Partly fenced oval with good dug outs and seating
Great Scoreboard.

6. Waneroo
Great football atmosphere at this venue. Great bar area and undercover seating area very close to the action. Fenced oval and perimeter and outer bar areas if needed. Their scoreboard lets the venue down.

7. North Fremantle
Great historic venue with the Grandstand getting it into the top 10. Good historic club rooms though no viewing from inside the club rooms .

8. North Beach.
Have to put it in the top 10 because it is a big brand new venue with great viewing from the bar area and the double grandstand which is right on top of the action. Probably lacks true football atmosphere in the bar area and because it is not a fenced oval or perimeter venue. Fantastic scoreboard .

9. Stirling
Fully fenced oval and perimeter . Great two bar area with good viewing from the bar and the area in front of the bar. Good football atmosphere.

10. Melville
Massive big two storey bar and viewing area right on top of the action gives a great football atmosphere. Always a big rowdy crowd . Fantastic large scoreboard.

have to agree with Gosnells being top always love playing there, plus beer on tap which is becoming a rarity at local clubs.

the new facilities at Kenwick are a big change to what was previously there, I'm going to sound Biased so if you have a chance to have a look I recommend it.

we now have a two storey facility, the clubrooms up top with full glass walls towards the oval side and a balcony overlooking the oval. so far for the functions we have held there the facilities have been perfect good size bar, massive room and a great view.

Gosnells is great. Their chips & gravy are fantasic.
Kingsway - not enough room to watch while having a beer. Balcony far too shallow.
Stirling - no idea how you've got this top 10, can't see the game from bar and no atmosphere.
Melville - vey good, good beer-drinking environment.
A couple you've missed -
Lynwood Ferdale - great place to watch footy and have a cheap beer or 2.
Wembley - great new rooms but from my experience none of their own players stick around for a beer, which is a worry.
Whitfords - ok if you want to walk 8km for a beer.

Good to see that long-overdue funding has come through for Canning Vale to build some clubrooms. IIRC they have been trying since they were founded back in 2011. Soon those temporary sheds will be a thing of the past!

Good outcome for them CO, rumour was at one stage they would have to move grounds closer to the tip area of Canning Vale before they got rooms built. Better that they don't have to move as they have had an identity in that area for a few years

Whitfords (McDonald) and Quinns (Bong Fire) are battling it out for the worst facilities in the northern suburbs.

Kenwick would have to be the biggest improvers, given their new rooms and moving onto an adult sized oval.

Kenwick old oval was massive? It was only one year on the back oval!
