I personally think this is a fantastic thing to finally happen. I can see this growing relatively quickly. Like everything, it will start quite small. I don't see how this could be a novelty in anyway. It is a chance for girls to get involved in something that they have never been able to participate in.



As others have said, if you are not interested, don't get involved.

Birdman- how does a club go about adding a team to thiscomp? Who is the main contact? I think our club could generate enough numbers to make it happen.

About 100 ladies turned out at University Football Club for the first of 3 rounds of the WA Woman's Football Carnival. There was lots of enthusiasm and some very good skills on display.

The next round will be played in 2 weeks time, probably at Curtin. More Clubs are expected to participate, including possibly 3 country teams.
