Great get by North free but what's happened to the bloke previously announced as coach, has he taken on a different role at the club or has he moved on.

* The NFAFC website announces on October 21 that the club is pleased to announce the appointments of Karl Pirrottina as Senior League Club Coach (and Sam Mainwaring as Colts Coach) for 2017, going on to say that both are North Freo men who know and understand the Club and its needs and that Karl brings an extensive array of experience and leadership to the Club as past captain, player and a wealth of football knowledge from his various roles across the football world and communities throughout WA.

* Their Facebook page refers to a Meet the Coach day on December 4.

* On January 5, their Facebook page announces Woewodin's appointment. Doesn't seem to be a reason for the switch in startegy.

Maybe NF finally woke up and realised appointing people from within who are lesser quality applicants isn't working for them. Long history of jobs for mates... espcrcially this non appointment of Jaymie Graham.

I heard few quality applicants didn't even get a call before one of their ex players was appointed this time round.
At least they have seen the light...

Pirrottina was assigned to Geraldton with work through Clontarf after his coaching appointment...and obviously couldn't continue on as coach of NF.

Question for you all, had a look at Lynwoods facebook page to see if this news was correct about Dodd. They are offering free fees to all plyers that play at the club this year. Surely that is a form of remuneration??

Lynwood has been doing this for the last 3 years. They offer free club membership to all new players for their first year, they do it for both juniors and seniors but you are still required to pay ball fees
